nhlgeezer9 posted a message on Foundry Inspector abilityWhen Foundry Inspector is on the battlefield and Treasure Keeper is put into the graveyard, would Panharmonicon be able to be cast because artifacts cost one less to cast? Or because the CMC is originally 4, Panharmonicon wouldn't be able to be cast?Posted in: Magic Rulings

nhlgeezer9 posted a message on Whenever a creature you control attacks...When I control Silumgar, the Drifting Death and I have 3 dragons attacking, do creatures my opponent control get -1/-1 until the end of the turn or will it multiply 3 times, one for each dragon, ultimately making them -3/-3 until the end of the turn?Posted in: Magic Rulings

nhlgeezer9 posted a message on Energy Counter questionCan I use multiple energy counters to trigger an ability? For instance, with Thriving Ibex, if I have 6 energy counters, can I put 3 +1/+1 counters on my creature when it attacks, or am I just allowed to pay 2 energy counters per attack? Thanks in advance!Posted in: Magic Rulings

nhlgeezer9 posted a message on Can a madness cost be used if Nahiri's Wrath was countered? My opponent played Nahiri's Wrath and I played Convolute. As an additional cost to cast he had to discard a card. He chose a card with Madness Alchemist's Greeting. What happens to the card that was discarded to pay the extra cost when Nahiri's Wrath is countered? Is it able to be played by madness cost, go to the graveyard, or go back in the hand?Posted in: Magic Rulings

nhlgeezer9 posted a message on Thermo-Alchemist enchanted untap questionI played a Thermo-Alchemist and my opponent put a Singing Bell Strike on it. He was sad when I played an instant and untapped my creature and insisted that I couldn't do that. Can anyone supply some insight to help me find the words that I can untap it because of its ability, just not untap it during my untap phase? Or maybe I'm wrong. But I don't think I am. THANKS!Posted in: Magic Rulings

nhlgeezer9 posted a message on Imprisoned In the moon questionI played a Imprisoned In The Moon on my opponents creature. Can that creature be used as a cost for emerge? Or is it just a colorless land with no mana cost? Thanks!Posted in: Magic Rulings

nhlgeezer9 posted a message on Nahiri's Wrath questionIf this Nahiri's Wrath is the only card in my hand, can I cast the spell and do 3 damage to one creature, since that is the mana cost of the card. Or do I have to have another card to discard for it to take effect?Posted in: Magic Rulings

nhlgeezer9 posted a message on When getting delirium, at what point does an instant go in the graveyard? My opponent was attacking, I used an instant to add counters to my creature. My question is, when does delirium happen? I had another card that would have activated delirium and blocked an attacking creature, but my opponent didn't think that it had delirium yet. What should have happened?Posted in: Magic Rulings
