The "He-man Womyn Hater" act
1. Any woman caught trying to break the glass ceiling will be fined and forced to make her man a sandwich.
2. Women can no longer try to talk to men after sex, during the game, or while he's playing COD4.
3. "No" now means "Me love you long time" when spoken by a woman.
Sigged LOL
If I was to be your president, I would make a law making Illegal the exportation of anything we import (Uh OIL Duh why are we selling this over seas and then buying it back sounds like a dumbass thing to do.
In Chess tournaments each participant must bring a clock. If this rule were implemented the DCI would need to place the same requirement. Clocks run $30-$60. There are cards that cost more than that so I doubt that's going to bust any serious players budget.
Wizards has stated that they are trying to get more players. If I was going to start a new game and walked into a store and the first thing I found out about it was that I had to buy a $30-$60 Clock, I would walk away and play Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon. And I don't know about you but $60 is about my monthly magic budget. MTG Cardlinker
My girlfriend and I are considering going to our first prerelease since we're within reasonable driving distance of it for the first time. does anybody know what the entry fee would be?
For the release our local person is charging 20 if you register by the 20th and 25 the day of the event you get a starter and two packs and a promo card for this price I think its a great deal
This is both the pre-release and launch party promo. No more seperate promos-for now. I personally like this it saves the trouble of going almost 100 miles to my nearest cardshop for a pre-release when we are having a release tournament here in town just to get the promo.
I am running the local release and this is just a copy of the e mail I got from the DCI. There are no pics yet they say to expect materials in the mail about 2 weeks in advance.
You can always find blank playmats and request that an artist doodle on it at a PT, GP, Nats, etc.
That was better than my suggestion of getting each of your opponents to draw a little picture on it and everyone you trade with also so that you have something unique of that event.
I played a person in the first round they were playing an elf deck.
During the finals I got paired against them again and all of a sudden he is playing Fairies.
I talked to the coordinator about this who is also the acting Judge, he told me that during REL 1 events that you can change decks between rounds since FNM and the like are for learning and teaching the different formats.
On one side I agree with him but on another this makes for an unfair advantage if you know what your next opponent is playing and he only has one deck.
TTTF: I love your work. Just thought I would pop in and say a good job to you. However, on the last mat, I feel that a better sense of anatomy would improve it greatly. The arms really bug me, the way the muscles twist like that. Starting with its right arm (our left) one can see how the tricep is drawn to twist medially downwards, when it should descend toward the the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. The two supinators (brachioradialis and extensor carpi radialis longus) attach far too low on the arm, they should start to descend down from the bottom third of the humerus. The other arm (our right, its left) has a similar problems. The ulna furrow should point towards the lateral part of the wrist, as opposed to following the direction of the radius. The wrist looks strange as well, bulging oddly; only the ulna would stick out that much, while the radius and other bones would not protrude, and would be covered in a ramp of tendons.
The legs look also anatomically off, it looks as though you invented many muscles there, while on the top of the leg only three muscles would be visible-- vastus medialis, vastus lateralis and rectus femoris. The leg in shadow appears to be much too small and the upper leg would certainly be longer.
All in all a fantastic piece of art, but it could still be improved.
I think it is called artistic interpretation, or not having a degree in Medicine.
My current problem is I normally have about 8-12 people turn out for a regular event and I already have 26 people pre registered for the release party, I think I am going to contact wizards to try and get 2 kits
