    Beast Whisperer seems amazing here

The card seems absolutely nuts. I for sure wouldn't maindeck it in the Vizier version but I'm willing to try one in traditional. Either way I'm playing at least two in the board. If only it's P/T were reversed so it could dodge bolt, but I understand why they didn't do that lol. Anyways I'm excited for it

I think maybe one copy of Vclique is fine in the board but I really don't think it's where you want to be in the main. High I'd be more inclined to play a 3rd Queller and 1 something else than the 2 Clique

Feels like the list needs more ramp. I tried a few test games and most of them I spent having spells rot in my hand before I die

Gonti seems really fun and like a solid deck to build for my less competitive tables.

Torpor Orb seems really hard to beat, do you just not run into it often?

I think keeping a 5 card 0 lander is a lot better than a mull to 4 or 3. In almost any deck, I always keep my 5

For Traverse lists, thoughts on Remorseful Cleric in the SB? Or are we better off just running a second Spellbomb to avoid the card disadvantage even though we can't Traverse it? I'm not crazy on Bog taking up a slot in my 15 even though it's traversable.

Race, Discard, maybe throw one enchantment removal card in the SB you can use with your Stomping Ground?

Idk it just seems like a poor man's D&T. Those interactions are a lot worse without Vial because you're flying blind off of CoCo, and none of those cards have flash on their own (and they all have worse combat stats aside from Flickerwisp.)
Holding up Queller and CoCo at the same time is insanely powerful, and Reflector is the best creature based board interaction in the format.

I think the biggest draw to playing abzan creature toolbox is if you're playing any of the combos. But if you're just going for Beatdown/Value, Blue seems strictly better.

I'm still playing a BW Vial list every once in a while but I've been switching decks a lot lately.

I don't think there was really anything interesting for us in M19. A 2 mana 3/2 is alright but it's outclassed by the two drops we already had (wayward servant, tidehollow sculler, Relentless Dead, Binding Mummy, etc)

It would be better if the ability costed less, token entered untapped, or could target an opponent's graveyard as well.

I think it might be alright if you're on mono black, but I'd sooner play the discard creatures like Miasmic Mummy

I definitely wouldn't say Sculler fills the same role as Queller. Queller is way better and I think it alongside Reflector Mage is more than enough enough reason to be in blue. Especially since the combo matchup doesn't really get any better, and the Midrange matchup gets worse. The only matchups the switch to Black is really helping would be Control

I do think some number of Gurmag Angler is still correct, especially with Black being the main color. But in some of the test games I played, you use Varolz to make him an 18/18 and it just doesn't matter because he gets chump blocked, where Mandrills lose a point of power, Zombie typing, and B cost, but gain Trample and A lower CMC. I'm sure with enough testing we'll find the right numbers

Stitchers supplier has me interested in this deck again. I really like the Eldritch Evolution Varolz list posted, but it sort of feels like it's lacking evasion. Maybe some number of Hooting Mandrills in place of an Angler or two, and maybe Driven // Despair? Has the potential to improve combo matchups too

I've considered crossing into Esper, but probably only if we get Carrion Feeder or mayyyybe a 2 mana sac outlet zombie

4 & 5 mana creature with haste and/or built in protection are infinitely better than 7 and 8 mana fatties as a plan B.

And a turn 2 Haste Indestructible Doublestrike Vigilance Soulflayer usually is good enough. Especially when you have Haste creatures in the 3, 4, 5 slots of the curve and a hexproof mana dork to power them out faster. So if they manage to deal with your Soulflayer and you don't have another one set up, you still have a reliable number of reliable threats to hard cast and put the nail in the coffin. By the time you have 8 mana your opponent has stabilized or killed you.

Zetalpa is high quality keyword soup, but still a really terrible card and not something I want to max out on

I'm not sure why you think Humans is getting a ban? Has it been said by someone on Wizards staff or something?

Also I definitely disagree with Zetalpa being an auto 4-of. You should be building your list in a way that you have an at least servicable plan B. That's why cards like Samut and Hazoret are fantastic. They give Soulflayer really relevant abilities and are legitimate threats on their own. I had BW tokens turn one thoughtseize surgical my Flayers and I still crushed him with Samut, Chromanticore (I run one Godless Shrine in addition to Caryatid) and Hazoret. Also Drogskol Reaver > Zetalpa imo. Slightly more castable, and flying lifelink doublestrike can be a game ender in its own, especially with either haste or hexproof also.

My gameplan against UWx is to just jam as much discard as I possibly can and packing cards like Thrun and other 4-5 drop threats instead of uncastable fatties
