I think Im probably easily $15k+ and then lands on top... Its fully pimped minus 5 cards (only revised duals however).
I really want to make a pauper cube, quite small around 270 cards, just so that I can take something to public events.
Nice cube, loving the commitment! My cube is pretty much at the same stage (minus the lovely wooden box ) and I would love to share the photos with the community but have issues with getting my photos as big as yours... Who did you host the images with and at what rez? Thanks (PMing me is fine btw if you could)
1.) Freyalise was no elven goddess. She wasn't even a full elf! She was a Human-Elf hybrid.
2.) Freyalise was a fire mage. She was red / green, with a heavy lean towards the red side.
3.) Freyalise was party of Clan Ruby, a human group of fire mages. She had little interest in leading elves.
1) The elves do not know about her heritage and is considered a goddess to them
2) Correct, however, when she 'died' it was by Jason's green magic which is what she was thinking about when her spark ignited and thus she became 'green' after her ascension
3) Again after her ascension, she became heavily devoted to protecting the Steel Leaf and the few Llanowar elves that she took to Skyshroud
I'm afraid to say that I didn't note down the artist's name before I closed the web browser, so if anyone knows it please let me know to add in the credit line...
I think the flavour of her history works nicely with the abilities.
+1: Freyalise finds the Steel Leaf and Llanowar elves a new world to live in
+1: Freyalise escapes to Skyshroud, away from Yawgmoth
-6: Her overwhelming devotion to protecting her 'people'
How we looking flavour wise now?
Ive tried to match them as best as I can within the colour pie without having too many in a single colour or pair...

Ahh but the abilities aren't awkward in the colour pie, only the flavour of the 'sin'. So it depends on how pedantic you want to be with that.
I really like it when a card has proper flavour behind it, I also love it when a beatuiful art is used as I like to foil out my cube. So its 6 for one and half dozen the other.
I will make a different set using this art and be more true to the identity of the sin, rather than purely the art...
Here I wasn't being strict to flavour. I wanted to include it, but I also allowed the art to dictate towards what I did with them. i.e. Avarice is white because of the artwork.
I also tried to add in abilities that I would like to play with, rather than just try to mould around identity (to this end I wanted to have a cycle in each colour rather than just 7 B or B/X walkers).
I agree that Envy for example could well have, for example:
+1: Search for a forest if an opponent controls more lands than you.
-1: Search for a creature " " creatures than you.
Seeing the criticism about flavour, I think that I will revist these from a flavour point of view. However, I will probably still keep the colours the same, more or less, as the colours in the art just work well that way.
Thanks for the input and I hope you like version 2 of these...
Any chance of getting all the submissions 'spoilered' in the first post?
Ive trolled through most of them but for quick reference would be nice to have them all in one place.. Thanks
Goodbye Sarkan. I would readily invite either of the other two into my cube over him.

Only really works with the Flavour text B submission however
Vendetta?
Having a 1 mana kill spell with no draw back would be far too much above the curve... True it could have the non-black clause removed.
Silly I know, but I couldn't help myself...

Ok so for the flavour versions, I'm going to go with;

Any ideas on different abilities would be great as I ran dry on one or two (I think the wording is correct on all).
I present the "Seven Deadly Sins":
Ive trolled through most of them but for quick reference would be nice to have them all in one place.. Thanks
