Today is the ten year anniversary of Club Flamingo. While the thread has well and truly died, I thought I'd come back one last time for the traditional Statistics Update. In the meantime, I left some words over in our new home if you would like to read a bit more.

I don't really anticipate posting here again, unfortunately. RIP to MTGS, my fondest internet home, and certainly the one with the most lasting impact to my life. Maybe if we're all still around in 2030 we can get some scotch and celebrate.

Club Flamingo Statistics Update — November 2020

Thread Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆. It always was and always will be.

Thread Size: Interestingly, we have actually lost posts since the last update: Our total today is 55,484. Two years ago when I left the last update, we had 61,261. I think this has something to do with either the purging of European account data due to GDPR or the various changing hands of ownership. Either way, we still beat the next biggest thread by almost 20k posts, so the crown is retained.

Thread Views: Views, on the other hand, don't seem to have been purged. We are still well in first with 2,540,885 views, up from 2,324,835 views last time!

Posts per Day Lifetime: N/A. Due to the loss of posts, this stat isn't really valid anymore, unfortunately.

Posts per Day since last update: N/A, see above.

Thanks Count: 67. Last time I joked that people might have forgotten about Thanks and reminded them to do it. It actually looks like somebody did go and add a Thank to the OP. One person in two years. Amazing. There is hope, after all.

If you want to know how easily this game could have gone the other way, Tubba correctly watched Killjoy and saw KCC kill him N1!

I came into Today fully expecting a KCC lynch and Cantrip to have to fight it out in F3, but the quickhammer off of a Tom vote was a spectacular finish.

Here is where I give props to the scumteam. After weathering solid pressure through all of D1 and slipping out of it, they made excellent use of their Night to strategize and plan specifically for the quickhammer (you can see the scum chat for how they did this). In a game like this all decisions are really important due to the compressed timeline and I think they made the most of it.

Shoutouts again to Tubba for correctly calling the NK. Unfortunately the game ended literally before he could tell the thread about it. Rhand also had great reads early on, correctly calling the scum team on page, like, 2.
