It's like the enchantment who create a Mercenary token when you commit a crime. Without the limit it would be a " infinite " combo with the new Vial smasher. But would really a 3-card combos be a problem ?
Imo play design is a mistake.
It is technically a 2 card combo, since the third card can be anything really.
Bristly only feel somewhat mythic due to the fact that its 5-mana ability affects all creatures. Otherwise it would be an uncommon-grade card. Not that 5 mana is cheap anyway, so while okay, I think it will not see play outside limited and specific commander decks.
Here’s the ones that this removes that we don't need to speculate on
“A new batch of five related creature types” — “Outlaw” the Batch is Assassin, Mercenary, Pirate, Rogue, and Warlock
“A mechanic players have been asking us to do for many years gets made as the setting was the perfect place to finally do it” — that might be “Saddle” but will see if there’s something we didn't see
“Dual lands with a land subtype that has never been on dual lands before” — “Desert” it’s a 10 card cycle that pings a target for 1 damage on ETB
“A new modal mechanic that introduces something different to think about” — “Spree” is essetionally a different take on “Escalate” the different is there’s a different Mana value for each Modal.
“A card that can swap/exchange control of up to three different card types” — the card is called Shifting Grift the types are Creature, Artifact, and Enchantment.
“A new creature token that has an ability no creature token has ever had before” — might be the mercenary tokens, it gives target creature Firebreathing. (Tokens have given themselves firebreathing but not other targets.)(will see if other tokens have something else)
“Some of the planes with legendary Villains in this set: Dominaria, Eldraine, Fiora, Innistrad, Ixalan, Kaladesh, Kaldheim, Kamigawa, New Capenna, and Ravnica” — leaked ones include “Selvala” (Fiora) “Kambal” (Kaladesh), Malcolm (Ixalan) Ghirad (Ravnica)
“Plotting cards from your hand costs {2} less.” — we don’t have the card but we know what plot does it's basically a variant of Foretell but it’s always sorcery speed and it’s a freebie cast when your ready to do it. So basically it in a way really is “Foretelling cards from you hand cost {2} less”
“Creature – Ox Angel” — the card is called…… “Holy cow”
So now for my speculations
“if it wasn’t cast or no mana was spent to cast it.”
I will put it this way it’s likely connected to plot either support or hate
“If a triggered ability of a legendary creature you control triggers, that ability triggers an additional time.”
Well it goes outside ETB so might be a tough call if this will be better than Gandalf the white or not.
“you get that many additional upkeep steps after this phase.”
Im almost certain the teaser will be this…
(For those who don't know this is Obeka, Brute Chronologist she manipulates time just to beat up people so mutiple upkeeps fits easily for her.)

"Reward" needs some clarity. Aftermath clearly states that you can cast the bottom half from your graveyard.
If the intent is to be able to Yawgmoth's Will the top half, I think you need to clarify that.
Notice that I specified cards that "have an Aftermath" rather than cards "with Aftermath" as a way to refer that i'm talking about the upper half.
The wording was inspired by Beluna Grandsquall and her "cards that have an Adventure".
