While Wizards claimed that contraptions are a joke, Merfolk in Lorwyn prove that they are willing to listen to players. If enough people will say that they want Riggers and Contraptions, I believe that Wizards will give in eventually. But - not in Jelly. When Future Sight came out, Jelly would be already done. It's more likely that it's graveyard-themed block with Delve as one of main mechanics, as I heard being speculated here.
oh yeah, forgot that they made sets so early...
delve was by far my favorite FS (possibly even TS block) mechanic so, i would absolutely love to see more of it.
the elves do look pretty cool in jelly, though, we'll see if they're better than the lorwyn ones spoiled so far...
2) generate 8 red off of ability
3) play hero for wrrrr, oaf gives it +1/+0 and flying to hero, champion oaf.
4) play inversion (br) on hero (8/1 flyer)
5) play goatnapper (rrr) targeting hero (haste)
6) tarpitcher the goatnapper for 2 damage to opponent.
7) attack with adder-staff, soulbright, hero.
8) because of total toughness of 4, 1 damage on ground tramples over. add in 8 flying + 2 from the tarpitcher from before = 11 damage.
