this is the Deck i'm running now. Cenn's tactician is a test, and the wrath of god's are really a flexible slot. I like to put things like Mana Tithe
The general plan is to use the captain and windbrisk Heights to cheat Captain of the Watch and Thoughtweft Trio into play. (or any other soldier. Militia's Pride is very nice to go wide, especially when Ballyrush Banneret makes it cheaper to cast. 3 attackers for the windbisk Heights should be no problem
Let's say i have 2 creatures in play, where one of those creatures is the preeminent captain and i also have windbrisk Heights.
If i attack with both creatures and use the ability of preeminent captain to put another kithkin soldier into play, can i activate windbrisk Heights afterwards?
I understand that there was no attack trigger (so if i would put a preeminent captain into play that one won't trigger), but the creatures WERE attacking.
Does windbrisk Heights check if there were 3 declared attackers, or does it check how many creatures were attacking?
I ran a mono blue faeries variant in a 10$ tournament with friends a while ago. i really like the deck and the fact that i could convert it to a more agro variant with scions of oona and unstable mutation
for one mana you really get some extra "oomph" and the -1/-1 every turn doesnt matter with all the bounce effects you have
Since we don't run any fetches, it could be worthwhile to test Suppression Field in the board. I think the only cards of ours it affects are Figure, Cloudgoat and Windbrisk if you run it.
What abilities do you fear that you want to run that? I have not encountered any abilities that make me want to run it, but that may be my local meta
I added Authority of the Consuls to my kithkin soldiers deck. it was an experiment but i must say i really like it!
really helps alot to enable safe attacks with preeminent captain and the militia's pride and provides a bit of extra life too
It depends what you want to archieve: if you wish to have fun and you like the flavour of a knight tribal deck: ofcourse!
If you want to be winning super competitive tournaments: probably not
Like others said i think the white color is the best color to start with
What also is fun is to hold a little tournament with friends: you set some kind of maximum price like 10 or 20$ and each has to create a deck with that. Then that one day you can see who made the best deck.
It tends to lead to really creative deckbuilding and after the tournament you have some fun decks to play together with about the same powerlevel
Hello Mtgsalvation users,
I used to only read here and never posted before so this is a new account i just made to spread the word about the following:
In August i started my own webshop at https://www.flippedtable.nl to sell my leater playmats online to other MTG enthousiasts. Since i really liked the process of setting up a company and learning all the ins and outs of running a webshop i decided to extend the range of products to sleeves, deckboxes and gaming bags
For these products I aim to be the go to webshop in The Netherlands.
As a starting webshop i am trying to get our name out there and hopefully make some people happy with (not so shiny but matte) new sleeves.
While my site is in dutch and aimed at the dutch market I hope to welcome any of you in my webshop.
If you want i would very much appreciate feedback,
Greetings, Maarten le Blanc of The Flipped Table

That way dust will not get on your cards already

I can imagine he does not like the "enter tapped" part, but myself i still run 2/3 of them (also clachlans but that is mostly for flavour)

I also run ballyrush banneret and militia's pride together, i like it when it costs only 1 mana to cast
As soldiers to "cheat" into play with preeminent captain i use captain of the watch and thoughtweft trio
