I find the card weak. I don't think she is good on her own, especially in this color combo, with the support it has. She only has a place in superfriends, especially helpful with planeswalkers who have onlu minus abilities.
From a flavor perspective it makes sense for her to be blue green since she is focused on transformation magic. That is primary blue and secondary green/black. The fact that she is secretive(or whatever is called) with her hidden agenda and all, plus the indoctrination of new walkers etc(manipulation), could be a further affirmation of her having black in her as well, down the road.
I will basically summarise what most are saying. Its not that i don't like having phyrexians in the set and if anything vorinclex or urabrask are the most fitting to be in a world with the characteristics of kaldheim, so that is a good thing, but i would prefer to have 2 sets where in one the world is fleshed out and in the second the stakes are settled regarding tibalt and the seed of phyrexians is planted.
The phyrexians show up on other planes (I doubt Kaldheim will be about a fullblown invasion)
There are still mirrans alive on Mirrodin New Phyrexia
Koth is not willing to give up the mirrans (as far as I understand it?)
Tezzeret has the bridge that allows planeswalkers, inorganic material and organic material coated in special inorganic material (like lazotep) to use the bridge to travel between planes
Karn has retrieved the (Golgothan?) Sylex, able to cause massive devastation
The new Kaldheim native planeswalker Tyvar Kell has the ability to transmute flesh into any material he has access to, temporarily
So what are the odds the following will happen with the plot in the next sets/years:
The Phyrexians will show up in multiple worlds, in small numbers, maybe just one praetor per set. Vorinclex is in Kaldheim, Urabrask may be in Strixhaven etc etc.
Karn wishes to destroy New Phyrexia by destabilizing the core of Mirrodin using the Sylex. Koth does not want to let this happen and after a while they learn of Tyvar's powers and realize they can evacuate the mirrans using his powers and the bridge, which means they'll go after Tezzeret to either force him to cooperate or extract the bridge from his body.
The gatewatch teams up with Karn and retrieve a sample of lazotep from Ravnica or Amonkhet (Amonkhet would be a nice excuse to go back to the plane) for Tyvar to use as a substrate for his powers, turning the mirrans into lazotep and evacuating them elsewhere (Maybe even Amonkhet, they sure could use the numbers to rebuild and the names of the mirrans names were vaguely african to begin with? And there's no overlap in races which means each world can keep its identity.)
Karn then uses the Sylex to destabilize New Phyrexia, destroying the plane and the hub of New Phyrexian activity, though pockets of phyrexians exist elsewhere and Karn, Elspeth, Koth and maybe part of the gatewatch go out to find and destroy the last phyrexians.
The ending even leaves WotC and out in case they want to bring back the Phyrexians again in the future. (Because of course they will.)
That sounds amazing. I really hope they do this or something similar. It must not be a coincidence vorinclex is in the set. The whole story would fit tyvar's boasting personality
That is a whatever answer since this is what he answered back in tarkir, about the protagonists of blocks being monocolored, since he wanted most people to play them. While at the same time he confirms the 10 worlds below. What he also says about looking for a opportunity to do 3 colored gods is weird coz besides hindu gods this was the perfect place
I think i should have done this a long time ago. I don't even remember how long i have been posting in this forum much less how much time i have been reading posts.
I am from greece, live in athens, my name is John and have been in contact with the game(other periods playing while others just observing and reading the lore/cards since 2001. In april is my 20 year anniversary i suppose.
I am a red player at core and splash onto blue mainly, but play occassionally with all colors.I am not a fan of playing azorious control at all. Commander and free4all(survivor style matches) is my favorite format.
It turns out alrund is in the video. So he is a cross between odin and heimdall. Still there are 3 more characters in that could fit the god type. Despite all that, i still think that having gods in monocolored idenity is a missed opportunity coz most gods from norse mythology are at least 2 or more colors. Ikoria still being around probably played a role in them not being 3 colored. I get that based on restriction from mythics we couldn't have 15 but damn we could have 10 in mythic and still have them 2 colored. At the end of the day, given the gods are indirectly immortal, they could be worked to be at a rare slot and have them as said.when i look at the white one and abilitywise it looks more rare than mythic. If they are all monocolored what sets them apart from the other 2 cycles othen than the mechanics?

Lorehold red white
Prismari blue green
Witherbloom Greenblack
Quandrix red blue

Yes that is what i am saying. 100% real
He is all but confirmed.
Vorinclex seems good i guess. Haste makes a ton of difference.
I once again would repeat that we could use ten gods in the set instead of filling the story with 2 different subplots and taking mythic spots.

I wouldn't exclude the snake to do the 10 mana thing.
