Carthage, calm down. We get you don't respect competitive players who want to win. Honestly, the deck runs VERY differently from Vampires. I've tested his deck and a normal vampire list. The decks are two completely different things.
The latter looks similar, but runs completely different. The strategy itself has changed. When the strategy changes is when the deck changes. The aim of the first deck is to out tempo and and overrun your opponent by lots of vampires. The aim of the second is to control the game. He has 8 sacrifice effects. 3 Instant Speed removal effects. 3 repeatable removal engines. His deck also deals more with controlling the hand with the addition of a third Mind sludge.
His sideboard is anti agro as well. 4 first strikers(that evade path.), 4 more pieces of spot removal, and 4 cards for mass removal.
I don't like Planar Cleansing because it doesn't have synergy with Oblivion Ring and Journey to Nowhere. I would much rather play martial coup over the cleansing. Even though it costs 1 more to get the wrath effect.
Also, against every deck I have played that ran Luminarch Ascension I raped it. O Ring it once and you will never have a problem again. Your engine gets started and they get raped. :/
As I said I am not very fond of Cartographer, I understand why he is there, but I think Armillary Sphere is superior, because it gets you 2 plains rather then 1 and is easier to cast. I also think deck needs 25 lands not 24. Cartographer can be recurred later in game via Emeria, but think if you get that far you would rather recur an angel or knight as extra lands get quite pointless at that point and 2/2 bear is not exciting at all.
P.S. About white orchids - they work well with PtE, using PtE you give them extra land then play KotWO to get extra land yourself because PtE puts them ahead
Very well made points! I will remove some of my removal and the cartographer and put in the spheres rather then cutting the knights. So my list will end up looking like this I believe.
Arcane, I would really recommend Kor Cartographer in the deck. I really like him. I put him in over World Queller. (though they have synergy with each other.(mini combo, world queller, and emeria.) I had Felidar in there but took him out because i never got to 40 life before my opponent was at 0.
I had the fetch lands in my build originally but opted to take them out for plains because of the mini engine with Kor Cartographer.(seriously this guy is awesome. He guarantees the top of our curve.)
I don't like Knight of the White Orchid at all. In my testing he rarely gets me the next land. Any good replacements?
Here is my current list. I lost one game so far.
I have played vs Vampires, mill(though he misplayed game 2.), jund cascade, lotus cobra ramp, warp world, and Weird Ob Nixilis/ Scute Mob.dec(18 life in one turn :/)
Cards that I want to switch.
World Queller(I was thinking I would bring this in against control, but it just doesn't do as well as Iona.)
Wall of Reverence(haven't had the need to side him in at all.)
MVP's
Iona- Anytime the game is taking a long time this is game ending every time.
Kor Cartographer- That 5th is so vital, plus it makes an engine with Emeria.
Baneslayer- Obviously
EMERIA, THE SKY RUINS- With 4 Knights and 4 Cartographers it isn't hard to reach the 7 plains. I love this card so much.
Critiques? I like it so far, but i know that there are always improvements.
I am willing to test anything that is suggested as well.
I think there is a card (can't remember name), that you pay X, and its an artifact and spells with a cmc of X can't be played, but not X and over and not in standard.

4 Quest for Ula's Temple
4 Ponder
4 Spell Pierce
Spell pierce is amazing guys. It plays keep away that one extra turn you need. It destroys anything pertinent.
Pilgrim's Eye is just for deck thinning to make it even more likely I hit a creature.
I have 12 deck reorganizers so this works really well.
I recommend you give it a shot it is a lot of fun. I have no idea what to do for the sideboard.
Vamps is a bad match up, but everything else is a lot of fun
EDIT:
So after a bit more testing I am not liking Pilgrim's eye. Any suggestions?
What? No. That would often fix their mana. The only important color it doesn't give you is black. It doesn't stop them from playing BBE
Lets look and see.

I will do a 2-2 split. of the Captains.

-2 Conquerers pledge
-2 Knight-Captain of Eos
+4 Captain of the Watch
Also I just realized that I only search my library with only 8 cards. Which is better than before. Less searching the better.(Archive trap.)
EDIT: I think I might switch Knight for 2 fetches and 2 pitfall traps.
I had the fetch lands in my build originally but opted to take them out for plains because of the mini engine with Kor Cartographer.(seriously this guy is awesome. He guarantees the top of our curve.)

Chalice of the Void
However, teeg and void aren't good friends. Plus, they aren't that great, too much spot removal for teeg to be useful, and chalice isn't legal.
