Not bad, some cards you may want to look into would be hallowed burial/final judgement/ and austere command, I realize it may not mesh with your commander, but they would give you some answers to bigger creatures, and non-creature threats. I say this because your non-creature slots look pretty sparse.
What did everyone play last night? I played aggro, went 3-2:/
Draft, it went alright, nothing too noteworthy. The trades were good on that day though, got some neat stuff for my EDH's. I still need to get a wooded foothills, and a windswept heath, and then I'll have all the fetches, and all the duals for EDH.
@Quek, while I agree Commander lets us play older, more powerful cards, to me, it just isnt the same as playing t1 or 1.5.
You're right, EDH (Still can't get used to calling it commander :p), is far more heavily focused on diplomacy and group games with friends. T1 on the other hand is based more on 1v1 competitive styles that utilizes the efficency and interactions of cards to the fullest.
I was just stating that I prefer EDH to get my fix of oldercards.
I've never played T1, but I have most of the best cards due to EDH, and I usually lend out cards to buddies in case they are short a FoW or land or something.
While I see the appeal of playing older formats and getting to use some of the more impressive cards in the game, I think that EDH solves that need for me, and in my area there is a lot more supprot for standard anyway.
In other news, finally finished an essay about immigration patters in cities...exciting stuff.
Manders - Cool, I remember back in the day when Rian was the Mod for this section, so it's cool to know who is the new overlordMod for this nonexistant bunch.
So Digi on a scale of 1-10 how would you rate ME3 in terms of it's storyline/gameplay?
I've been thinking of picking up either pokemon black or white. (Leaning towards white), but I have been told that white/black 2 is comeing out soon. So I'm wondering whether to wait.
@Quek: I'm playing both Pokemon TCG and Yu-Gi-Oh at the moment as well
Got back into Pokemon last year, still trying to find a place that sells non-fakes.
That game is so badly balanced; Bill is the most broken **** ever.
Been playing Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Academy on GBA. That game is so unbalanced too
Firstly I totally understand how broken bill is, however they actually did balance it btw, they added something called supporters to the game. Which is like a trainer you can only play once a turn. The people in my area play pokemon like standard in MTG, where only the last two sets are legal in tourneys. Cheren is the new bill, that you can only play once per turn, but that draws you 3 cards. (Not nearly as good as bill once you play it)
As for the clan thread name, I'll brainstorm up some ideas that would be good.
Hey everyone just thought I would post to show everyone that I was still alive. I've been working on my standard deck which has been fairly solid in testing.
I'm also playing the Pokemon TCG as well. (Super nerd I know) I'm currently playing a psychic fire deck, which is pretty fun.
@Necro - Nice work on the Lilli, 3cc PW's are pretty good.
@Quek, I beg to differ, in regards to mill in Commander, especially in 1v1. Have you seen the current build for fraustX's mill commander deck? It's sick and completely viable. Although he does make a huge target for himself in multiplayer, lol. He might as well paint a bullseye on himself.
I should have been a bit better with my explanation. While Oona is a great general win-con, she draws a great deal of attention to herself, and often gets crushed quickly in a casual setting once people realize wha tyou are up to. In 1v1 she is a house, but EDH is a multiplayer format. I know the people in my area have a tendency to quickly band together against combo to crush it early, although it may not be the same where AJ is.
@Quek, Oona would be faerie tribal EDH. The fact that she mills as well is a secondary effect. Although it exiles so really it's win-win. More faeries and you'll NEVER get to use those cards again!
Only problem with Wrexial is that I haven't had good playtesting scenarios with him. I think my curve is too high and I made the mistake one game and decided to drop Thada on turn 3 instead of keeping counter magic open for Olivia Voldreen, but really that was a stupid mistake in my part and I shouldn't be taking it out on Wrexial.
My reasoning for wexial as stated above is mainly so that you dont get instagibbed everytime you play that deck with your playgroup once they get annoyed/killed by her a few times. Generals that have the potiential to get out of hand AND affect your opponents hand/deck/field tend to get focused down first. So unless you feel confident staring down the rest of the table, I would recommend wrexial since he's seen as just good, but not combo worthy.
@AJ -I would suggest Werxial, as mill never goes over well in EDH, and is a long and trying road in a 100 card format. Wrexial, has a great deal of toughness, is only 6 to cast, has evasion, and has a very relevant ability to boot.
@Bornnover - A very impressive piece of work, great job!
@Quek, where did your sb go? Which planeswalkr is which superfriend? The only problem Im having with the modified build from earlier is wrr. Maybe siding misteps?
wow, just noticed the sideboard was missing, don't know what happened there.
Out of curiosity why would you choose mental misstep for WRR, the only thing I see it hitting is birds and galvanic. One of which is dealt with by gut shot, and the other isn't really a problem for my deck.
Sigh, the one day where people expect discussions about reprinting JTMS and 'goyf, looks like I'll need to tread carefully.
EDIT: Also Haruko its hard to really make an edh list of the best generals since it depends on what you want them to do.

Good, I bought it because I had heard that asus was the way to go to reduce lag, and it does live up to its rep.
I also made 1st place in the standard tourney, got a sorin and an erebus, so all in it was a pretty sweet day.
What do you mean?

I'm currently trying to rock the a Psychic/Dark Chandelure deck. It turns out Zoroark is pretty great when he tutors up all my chandelure pieces.
Gratz on getting the playmat
