You are correct. If a token is a copy of a creature, unless otherwise stated, it has all the characteristics of that creature including p/t, color, abilities, type, name and cmc.

I didn't think that Spellskite would be so sought after, but then again, it is really useful in it's own way. The flexibility to pay U or life for it's redirect makes it very versatile. 4 toughness which makes it hard to kill with bolt is quite relevant. Being an artifact thus being able to be targeted legally by artifact removal to protect your other artifacts is also relevant. And as an additional if it is equipped with a sword and gains protection it is the most versatile creature in magic, I would say $5-10 would be right price for it and if it proves to be strong in other decks as well then it may jump in price, we will just have to wait and see..

If you equip it with a sword you can't redirect a spell of those colors to it as it has to be a legal target for the spell.

Back during morningtide I had a friend get knocked out of a tourney. He was upset of course but this particular tourney gave you one pack no matter what. I joked that he would get mutavault and a foil mutavault. He did.

Sure. Day of judgement goes on the stack and can be responded to with instants or abilities. Since the Leonin allows you to equip at instant speed there is no reason you couldn't as long as you have the mana to pay for the costs.

    Hi there all,
I'm just looking for clarification on the exact timing of triggered may abilities.
    For example, cyclops gladiator.

Now, when you attack with the gladiator his ability triggers. When his ability is triggered I know you have to choose a target. What I am unsure of is do you have to choose to use that ability then when it triggers or upon resolution?

Basically, if I attack with the gladiator and my opponent has only one creature out (without shroud) I obviously HAVE to target that creature then and there. Now, do I have to choose to use that ability now or after my opponent has a chance to respond?

Thanks. I was 99.9 percent certain it was so. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't some weird rule that would cause it to act differently.

Just a quick question to verify something.

    [CARD]
    Bludgeon brawl
    [/CARD], Tumble Magnet

Say I have a tumble magnet with counters on it equipped to a creature due to bludgeon brawl. I can still tap the tumble magnet to tap down another creature or artifact while it is equipped correct? Obviously I don't think it would matter if the creature that was equipped was tapped or not as equipment doesn't tap.
Just want to make sure this is right.

You realize that would be two mana for "Prevent all damage dealt by creatures your opponents control", right?

Edit: Though, I suppose it would only affect creatures with infect... which means it would completely and utterly lock down an infect deck most of the time.

I guess I should say make her a 2/1 then. Though its not like there isn't enough removal in the block for her. At x/1 there's plenty of removal. Granted, she would be insane if she was that way. As she is though I will pass her in draft every time.

I don't see any reason to take porcelain legionnare over viral Drake here. the Drake doesn't put you in infect, though it does make an argument for it, but it also has a great spot in uw fliers. proliferate is pretty powerful with the charge counters artifacts as we all know. plus it beats the legionnare in a straight up fight. melira is okay but she's just not good enough to first pick. if your opponents creatures didn't lose infect she would be a first pick every time.

I really hope you all are just using this for fun. Even then I say stay away from simulators altogether as if you get in a rhythm using it you first few real life (or modo) drafts are going to be horrible. The software for the bots just isn't there yet. This one actually shows what the bots drafted and its always horrible.
The only simulator I suggest using is one where you can draft against other people. I think its at ccg games or something like that. It's been awhile.
I just know this one is really bad because there's no way irl I would be able to draft 6 blighted agents and 4 mutagenic growth with only one pack of Doogie.

Everybody seems gaga over beast within. It's well designed and it will get played for awhile but is not an answer to planeswalkers. Jace or his other friends. While your opponent having a 3/3 may be better than them having Jace its still not optimal. The best card against Jace is still mana leak and after that probably still Hexmage or another Jace. IF you get so lucky to resolve it the new o-ring would be great but it costs too much.
Beast within is not good in standard at the moment and I'm sure that will be realized relatively quickly. It's okay in limited in the fact that it can blow up your wellsprings or your spine of ish shah thingy and can also be used as a great combat trick by blowing up one of your early drops and eating something of theirs. Even in limited it isn't that astounding. Just definitely more useful there.

Why do people always think that bringing up the fact that there is removal invalidates things? There is always removal! This won't reach tier 1 level for sure but with the right cards and good building it can be fun and it can win.
You are playing blue. Play mana leak. Hmm, that stops disfigure right? Not to mention the already spoiled spellspitter. He eats most removal too right?
Point is, there are ways to protect your combo in standard.
Again, I am not saying its going to be a meta changing deck for a few months while its legal but it will get played and maybe, just maybe someone will break it wide open.
I personally like to play rogue decks at fnm and just have fun. I'll be building a deck with this in it for sure.

To be fair, the majority of cards are atrocious topdecks. I've seen a Titan be a bad topdeck. I've seen a kill spell be a bad topdeck. It all depends on the situation.

Granted, it's much better with the Architect, but it will work just fine without. It's an 0/4. It blocks well. It'll still absorb a Lightning Bolt that would've been aimed at my head late game. That's better than most 2 mana creatures can do.

Not to mention it does a pretty decent job against Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. 4 'kuts with Harrow would be 24 damage to the dome. Even with just 4 mana open... I'll trade my guy and 8 life to keep myself alive another turn.

And just how are you going to make yourself a creature? If they aim a bolt or valakut at you its gonna hit you. This only redirect if its at a creature.
