I don’t play very often so I was debating selling my cavern of souls. I play GB painless mana with palaces and marshes. What do you suggest I run in caverns place? Unclaimed territory? More basic forests? Or do I go fetches and shocks now..
Looks like most people are forgoing Elvish Visionaries for a set of Elvish Clancallers instead in GB elves. Anyone here test this out at all? I’m curious if it’s been showing positive results.
Many run both! Auriok/Thune is more consistent, while Ascendant/Martyr is very inconsistent. You don’t need Martyr to use Asendant, it just makes a turn 2 6/6 possible. Thune also works without Auriok.
How does soul sisters compare with martyr proc? Is one better than the other?
Looking for a mono white modern deck to play. Something that’s not hatebear preferably. Should I go with a soul sisters variant? White humans? Emeria? What else is there? Thanks in advance!
martyr proc is a mono white control deck, the best "non hatebear" white deck IMHO

Anyone testing out dragon Skred? I feel like it could have some wheels..
Edit: after thinking about it, it may not be too great. Sarkhan comes down turn three unless we play Simian spirit guide. And I’d much rather cheat in a Koth or Chandra on turn 3. The fact that it’s 3 mana is only really useful when we don’t have a mind stone out.
Thorn lieutenant just got spoiled, and I am all up for the "elf warrior" tribal deck now. Maybe not with aethervial still, but this is the two drop that is better than clancaller and helps with reaching critical mass for elves. Definitely a staple 4 of.
Going the elf warrior tribal still means no aethervial imo, too many 1 drops in elves that matter to play over it.
Thorn Lieutenent just seems like a bad version of Dwynen’s Elite. Offers no real advantage unless someone targets it, which will most likely kill it. Or it can never get targeted because why would they when they can target an actual useful elf.
Hey all! Just went 4-0 a local event.
2-0 Grixis Delver
2-0 Jeskai Control
2-0 Blue Living End
2-0 Faeries
I gotta say, I am loving this deck. I ran the pretty stock list. I ran a single Ratchet Bomb which I never liked any time I drew it. I always wished it was a Hazoret so I’ll be making that swap going forward. All in all, great time!
So I keep hearing and seeing more and more about KCI-combo, but was never paired against the deck. Has anybody here actually played against it? As it's a combo-deck, I figure the matchup is pretty tough for us, but not as tough as Ad Nauseam, since it relies on the graveyard somewhat and we can remove the artifacts.

Martyr and Serra
Or
Auriok and Thune
?
That seems interesting. Would this be better than a soul sisters build with Pridemates and Thune?

Or Sylvan Caryatid?
