I agree about piroclasm but not totally. I'd really like to have a cheap sweeper too since I really love control decks, but on the other hand it would drastically change the metagame, favoring too much slower decks: many archetypes like elves, mono-white, red deck wins, stompy, faeries and kuldotha-decks would have a really bad time or definitely die. I think that something like steam blast or volcanic fallout would be more reasonable.
Hi, I'm opening this thread to discuss with you about possible downgrades from uncommon, rare and theorically even mythic to common, such as mm3's Burning-Tree Emissary and Mortician Beetle.
Obviously I suggest not to propose too powerful cards, since there is no chance for them to be downgraded.

Personally, I'd like something to bring mono-white decks to compete with other one-colour decks in terms of competitivity, for example wall of omens would be a nice add to the pauper pool of cards, since it would provide a good blocker against aggressive decks like stompy and rdw, but it wouldn't be too poerful since it's not that useful against control decks and faerie-decks. Moreover, it has a very good sinergy with kor skyfisher.
This is my suggestion, what's yours?
