For people without PW caps and only 4 guild cards I don't see how this makes it. Xenagos, Sarkhan Vol, Bloodbraid, Dragonlord Atarka, and done. Having only 1 walker per guild (I rotate Xenagos and Sarkhan) I have Huntmaster of the Fells in my 4th slot and these make for an interesting side by side comparison.
For 2RG I get 4 power divided between 2 bodies, 2 life, and the potential for flipping which means more power, burn, and maybe even flipping back for more value!
Or for 3RG I get 7 power divided between 2 bodies and 3 of it has haste/trample. (Also fringe benefits with the Tyrant/Mirror Entity).
I'll watch this but agree with those that say Bloodrage Brawler gets closer than this does. I like that they keep experimenting with the 4/3 for 2 CC with a drawback though!
Came into thread to see how this card got to 3 pages of discussion.
Found out the answer and wished I never bothered to investigate.
As to the card, to loosely paraphrase wtwlf, if the body isn't good then it becomes that much more about the effect. Adding flying and a point of toughness does not mitigate the loss of targets for the effect here. A 2/1 here would've been pretty awesome actually. Aw well.
We all have different experiences and by extension different perspectives. My experiences would lead me to find that claim to be quite the exaggeration as well, but in cube the phrase YMMV applies more often than not. In his cube and his experience, I believe Tog may well be the absolute nuts and the #1 Dimir card. Generally speaking, I don't think so.
I pulled the trigger on this one. I don't cube too frequently, but will update once I've gotten in a few sessions with this. I'm not too worried about this card losing value since the effect is so unique and powerful, its only been printed once, and I think the partner mechanic isn't one we are likely to see again.
I think as a general rule I should just assume I need to add 1 to everything. Being a designer with a focus on cube play makes one very very greedy when it comes to power level...lol.

Opposition. Rift is decent, but Opposition is a card people build decks around.

B is my favorite. Making it so the B side is only accessible from the grave feels flavorful for a mechanic with this name.
C is just transform for a cost. We've already seen this implementation of transform so there is no reason to call it something new.
