I'm still waiting on a report about the Torch installation on the high-end machine. Haven't heard anything yet, but that's probably a good thing - they'd have contacted me sooner if anything went wrong.
One bit of good (non-Magic) related news: I just got word that a paper for which I am the lead author was accepted for publication in an international research journal! The review committee praised both the technical contributions of the work and my evocative writing style (I'm a firm believer that scientific writing doesn't always have to be dull and obtuse).
At the end of the day, I feel that my research team and I have ever so slightly improved the odds for the long-term survival of our species, so that's nice.
Anyway, I'll let y'all know once everything is up and running. I'm currently setting up batches of experiments to be executed for when the time comes, and I'll be sure to make some time for higher resolution renders of art and training a new card generator.

Ensuring that every card you draw for the rest of the game is gas is a big game - especially when your entire side of the board is getting multiple buffs and triggering multiple abilities every time you cast something.Posted in: The Rumor Mill -

That is so amazing. Wow! Input layer, hidden layer, output layer. Genius!! Text cannot describe how big of a grin appeared upon my face when I saw this. I mean, if you want to change it, that's fine too, the output will be equally interesting I'm sure. How does it look at the size it'll actually be rendered at? That'd be one concern. It might be a bit cluttered. You may consider moving things about like Zaratustra suggested.
I was worried about clutter, too. Taking your concern, and Zaratustra's idea of upping the pentagonal factor, I've created this:
MSE's standard export looks like this:
The uncommon rarity is the worst case for visibility, and its still fairly clean. The rest are as so:
The MSE Symbol file can be found here. Forgive me if any of the links or embeds fail. Dropbox is not my forte.

Take pre-walker Liliana and her willingness to do literally anything to reach her goal of curing her brother. And that is also the great failing of heroic black - if white fails, at least it's made friends along the way. If black fails, it has left a trail of bodies and fire with nothing but good intentions to show for it.
I don't think black would go for democracy - black would probably favor a benevolent dictatorship, which can deal with problems much faster than democracy ever could. Of course, benevolent dictatorships rarely remain benevolent for long.

If I may make a suggestion? Add a fourth circle at the top and separate the middle ones so you have a Magic-style pentagon in the middle.
