im new to the archtype. but what if the deck goes to blue red ninja deck.. red can be a good enabler with all the hasty creature (goblin guide). rather than focusing on evasion. go the beatdown route and cheat in cheap ninjas for card advantage. just my 2 cents though..
Hi I had a deck idea which trended in tapped out a few months ago and I did not have anytime to make a thread here.
Basically this deck was a shell of the GW Hatebears but I took out all the bears and concentrated on hating the lands instead. Basically this is a sample deck list :
Noble Hierarch : This is our ideal turn 1 play. this would hasten our goal and would also negate some of the land lost we might encounter when we do ghost quarters.
Lotus Cobra : This is the MVP on this deck. In this build, this snake would create tons of mana and would be very beneficial to our needs.
Knight of the Reliquary : This creature helps us tutor the lands we need and would also be a force to be reckoned with.
Wayward Swordtooth and Azusa, Lost but Seeking : This is the engine that let us do broken things.
Ramunap Excavator : This card let us play Ghost quarter from the Graveyard coupled with Wayward Swordtooth and Azusa, Lost but Seeking, this can recur Ghost quarter and eventually Leaving your opponents with 0 lands.
Tireless Tracker : This can help us draw cards and would be a good beatstick.
Aven Mindcensor : A good card which would make it hard for opponents to look foro those basic lands.
Nissa vastwood seer and Courser of Kruphix is a great addition in filtering our deck.
Renegade Rallier : Can help us recur more lands
Ghost Quarter This deck is build around this card.
Imagine a board with Wayward Swordtooth, Ramunap Excavator and Ghost Quarter. You could be destroying 2 of their lands every turn. and with multiple copies of Wayward Swordtooth and Azusa, Lost but Seeking. I dont know how our opponents can keep up with this land destruction
if your meta has latern control try boarding in harsh mentor. it is really good against it couple with qasali pridemage plus recurring it through renegade rallier just take out the ensnaring bridge all the time. and let harsh mentor and pridemage do the job.. also the exalted part can let your birds do the damage attack with 0 using birds then buff it with exalted.. works everytime..
Yes i like evolution as well but the instant speed of chord is so good. and I rather have mainboard bolt because it interacts with planeswalker and kills most creature without downside. and have paths on the side for those pesky wurms and the likes.
mainboard sigarda is way better than glorybringer saved me a lot of times. and i also put in a lone fiend hunter to have a tutorable creature removal when i need it.
and your build lacks 4 drops to go with evolution+voice. grab pia and kiran and/or huntmaster of the fells.. it would boost the voice token by heaps..
spellskite is too good. it helps against infect/bogle and also protects the combo.
I only have a single morph creature, akroma angel of fury, for alternate wincon. I have previously went to an eldrazi path but soon realize the mana burden brought upon it. Also i experimented on using morphs. It did good, however, it lacks the power to close out tight games.
Upon using the deck. I have realised the value of cloudshift. It is very versatile as it can protect your creature, pseudo unmorph or trigger etbs and many more.
Hence this deck uses the cloudshift and restoration angel to its fullest capability through sarkhan vol and other etb creatures. However i am still really torn between my 2 drops. I have experimented on wall of omens. But i want more aggressive approach. And voice of resurgence and spellskite doesn't really cut it. I want some strong 2 drops that has amazing etbs or something that would really benefit this deck.
Also i would like more input in ways to improve this.
Playtesting of it was really good when i have the cards i want. At 1 point i am winning with early akroma and restoration tandem. A few times i am winning through sheer number of golems and my opponent's creatures. Next i am winning with kiki chord combo. However doing a mulligan on this deck is really devastating as it limits my card and the curve is really bad if i dont get any birds. Hence i am looking for a good 1 or 2 drops to fill in the gap if ever i draw a very bad hand. Previously, I had placed 2 more mana dorks, noble hierarch, but i had a game where i had all the mana dorks and no other stuff to use it to.
Hello.. I have revamped my deck for competition and would really love some suggestions and feedbacks like what to remove and what to put. What makes the deck stronger etc. Thank you.
Ohh.. those are nice. However I am thinking about incorporating any of those in my deck.. as most of them would make me look for basic and i only have few basic in this deck..
