Yes she is just that bad. TO make matters worse she is so bad that people would probably play the plains walker deck version of her if they had mad one.
Their will be no random copy-cat fiasco this time to make this card go from trash to treasure.
I would love to see more ninja's and arcane spells. The lore the themes this would be a great set to go back to. You could even reprint good dual land of the enemy fetch lands to help boost sells.
The big issue is that she is dimer UBand not esperUWB.
I found putting suspend and morph cards with about ten ublockable cards gives reliable synergy to the deck. Phthisiscurse of the cabalDeep-sea KrakenDread
I have found the key issues to be with the lack of ninja's and the fact the the ninja deck requires a lot of mana.
It is fun but you are forced to be aggressive in control colors and the lack of ninja's combine with the huge gamble of the top card mana cost being 10 mana Curse of the Cabal or 1 mana Slither Blade really hurts. Plus your opponents see every card you draw. Higure, the Still Wind is a key card making your ninja's unblock-able and putting them in your hand. Don't forget his ability.
The other issue is most of your creatures are small and the later the game goes the hard the swing back.
You also have trouble with artifacts and enchantments so Hurkyl's Recall is a nice card to out their but it dose cost two so top decking it is not fun.
I think we need more ninja's and spells with high cmc but low alternative casting costs. It is also hard to have a good bored state when you keep bouncing your creatures to hand for other low power creatures.
These lands are pre-ordering for $14.00 they are worth about $1.00 - $2.00
So dose Wizards hate to making money or something. I mean you put dollar commons and uncommon at rear. The scry lands cost between Temple of Mystery 1.00- 2.00 dollar most of the man lands cost 2.00 - 3.00 dollars except Celestial Colonnade.
Why would anyone care about a set with dad rear lands that should be uncommon or common.
Why didn't they just reprint the slow fetch lands?
For starters nothing you said in any way reflects how economics works, you've also skipped several factors that adjust a card's value outside of flat out effect.
But to answer your question, the slow fetches are the absolute opposite effect of these cards. There's literally nothing about that suggestion that works.
For starters I gave the example of Temple of Mystery to witch if you went to https://www.mtggoldfish.com you could look up the pirce history your self but I told you this card has no real value to day. Temple of Malady would have been a better card sees wide use in commander was origally piced in at $5.oo then $11.00 and now 4 years later it is a $2.00 card.
The fast lands from Scars of Mirrodin see more play in modern then commander were the format is also faster so you can't compare these lands to those.
Choked Estuary and Fortified Village both started out at $8.00 and $6.00 respectively and now they are both around $2.00
These are dual lands that come into play untapped.
Spire bluff Canal is starting to go down in price and if we get the shock land reprinted then the price would drop more.
The mainlands are all repetitively cheap thees lands are not worth $14.00 they are more like $2.00- $3.00.
If these lands had basic land types and could come into play untapped like shock lands or the original dual lands they would be worth more but they don't so they are going to end up at the $5 -$2 range. Sunpetal Grove and Drowned Catacomb have been reprinted so many times and do the same as the dual lands from this and they are for the most part $3 with Drowned Catacomb going through a down word trend from $8 as of right now.
I hope that the spoilers this Friday will be worth it because the lands were enough of a disappointment after the long wait I really don't want another one two weeks before release date.
Maybe they spoil what plains walkers will be in m19 and the commander set and that next year they will release next years commander anthology in the winter were it belongs.

Thank you; so it is a static ability that makes sense. I say that because it didn't understand how it could work as a trigger ability but as a static it makes perfect sense and because it is not a etb ability or an ability that is triggered then it doesn't interact.
Because a creature is entering dose trigger the ability but "9/20/2016 Abilities that apply “as [this creature] enters the battlefield,” such as choosing a creature to copy with Clone, are unaffected. "
If there is no replacement, thats a negative for me.
They could piece back together the legacy weapon and blast Nicol Bolas with it. That's probably overkill to the nth degree, but it would be entertaining.
SO if you really need so graveyard hate and you can't get a Remorseful cleric, Sentinel Totem, Ashes of the Abhorrent, Deathgorge Scavenger, Deadeye Tracker, or Silent Gravestone then I think she could be great standard sideboard card.

Their are no man lands or Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle plus Scapeshift combo.
No rings of bright earth or scroll rack

Now Fetid Pools stared $10.00 is now $6.00 Canyon Slough $10.00 to $3.00 Scattered Groves $10 to $2
Or the battle lands Sunken Hollow started at $10 to $2 Canopy Vista $10 to 2
Now if you look at the shock lands and fetch lands they stated at $10 and went up till they got reprinted.
SO what I skipped was the obvious trend if it isn't a shock or fetch or an old hybrid filter land it isn't going to be worth anything.
Slow fetch lands are exactly what these are mana fixing but better. Amulet of Vigor is also just better.
P.S. Slow fetches are better because they can find lands of any color and all these lands do is give you one of two. Krosan Verge
Terramorphic Expanse Evolving Wilds.

I need to change my +1/+1 counter deck now.
Because a creature is entering dose trigger the ability but "9/20/2016 Abilities that apply “as [this creature] enters the battlefield,” such as choosing a creature to copy with Clone, are unaffected. "
So I don't know.
Will it have the same base counters as the plains walker copied. Gideon or Sarkan
This is amazing with Thalia and Teeg. Now you don't have to worry about the thalia up tick on your spells.
New modern legonday themed decks what fun we will have when this releases.
Like that would even work. FYI Nicol Bolas Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker
