The current merfolk lists seem to be pretty well suited for the current meta. Recently, the deck had a good amount of success at the 2017 TCGplayer States (Collected Company Elves as well which makes me happy to see!) and came in second at GP Vancouver, probably due to it´s pilot. Deciding between Kira, Great Glass-Spinner and Vendilion Clique , various counterspells, removal, tempo cards and mana denial is also very interesting but other than that there seems to be a good amount of consensus concerning the lists. Therefore I would like to start exploring a green splash even if it might not be as versatile and competetive as the mono blue list.
I know the variety of collected company quiet well, therefore I would like to up the amount of creatures to at least 30 by cutting Aether Vial which hurts a fishes heart, but there is no room for Vial, dorks and Company. To stay at 20 Lands and be able to cast Collected Company consistently on turn 3 or 4 I will ad some amount of Kiora's Follower as well. So what do you guys think of Collected Merfolk/Merfolk Company/Simic Merfolk/Skyfolk ?
I have just created an account to say Thank You to this awesome forum, especially Nikachu_ and rothgar13. You gave me a lot of insight on the deck and helped me specializing my fish to my playstyle and local meta although I have to admit my list might not be the craziest deviaton from the norm. I run 4 Seas in the Sideboard, 2 Kiras main alongside 2 Spellpierce and 2 Dismember. Anyways, merfolk has become my go to deck next to Elves in modern (I really love tribal synergies) and have been following this thread for almost a year silently which probably won´t change a lot as I don´t think my expertise is anywhere near some of the people on this thread. Still I manage quite well in FNM in a rather competitive field and plan on participating in larger local tournaments. The deck is beautiful and makes me very happy in the way it plays out, but I have a lot to learn as I just started spreading my seas all over my opponents faces.
It got annoying to the point were I stopped using the mobile site. The ads redirected me and some of them contained sexual content. I can´t replicate it at the moment but I will make sure to copy the URLs next time.
I just created an account and have general question about this forum. Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I constantly get redirected to ads and am unable to return. Therefore I have to close my current tap and search for my current topic of interest again. Is this normal for mobile devices (ios)?

Corbin Hosler inspired me to trying a list containing 4x Noble Hierarch, moderns best mana dork, the new simic fastland Botanical Sanctum and 4x Collected Company as well as some interesting sideboard choices.
