But the WW in Halvar's mana cost does makes me wonder if we'll be getting only monos... well, that and the fact that Reidane being the G one seems very odd, she seems like a WR design.
I am not sure if we saw the same miniature. She was colorwise completely covered in blue clothing with some white and brown decorations and had blue wings. She was holding a shield and a sword (The sword handle and the shield are blue, too). I am not sure what exactly was Boros design? When I am looking at Boros Angels I see fire, Red, dual wielding swords/weapons or a two handed weapon, sometimes wearing some kind of Armor, Soldier like. Nothing of this fits Reidane (taking into account that the miniature is accurate but we don't have other information about her). She would fit black at the moment because it seems like the Valkyries are in Orzhov. Some of the Valkyrie seems to have more blueish wings (mainly the black ones). On the other hand the miniature was called Goddess of Justice which would fit White, Boros or Azorius. Maybe there are 10 Gods? 5 mono color ones with the artifact on the backside and 5 multi colored with Alrund, Reidane, snake, squirrel and the wolf or Reidane is just black but the color theme doesn't seem to reflect that.

I would love to have an Orzhov Angel tribal legendary and if this should be a god than even better... The problem... Reidane is the Goddess of Justice. This doesn't really fit Orzhov. The Valkyries we saw on the cards seem to have other tasks, too. More traditional with Valhalla (called Starnheim here) at least I get that feeling. Reidane could just have the form of a Valkyrie but have nothing to do with them. Her miniature was very blueish. The Valkyries displayed in the picture of the card Rampage of the Valkyries have kind of blueish wings at least some of them. I think she will end up being mono white with some kind of detain effect. But I honestly hope you are right, tho.

That said, this made me realize that if Dwarves show up, we may see them in BR, which could be interesting given the recent supposed reappearance if Balthor in the Secret Lair artist series.
(Additionally, I think I just realized, if nothing else, we will likely get a card that is Dwarf on one side, and Dragon on the other.)
I don't know about the Dragon/Dwarf thing but Dwarfs will be present. We saw a Dwarf cleric and fighter within the Kaldheim figures. The ones we saw looked very white, tho. They could still be mixed up in multiple colors. There were some Elves (a light version and a darker with blueish skin ones) and a Human Berserker if I remember correctly.
Yes, I am quite sure that we will see some Valkyries's as angels and I am quite hyped for that. Because there practical not angels so they can end up a little differently that the normal angels we see. Adarkar Valkyrie is a good example for that. But lets see how this end.
Still the angels or Valkyries on the top of the card could still be just artist choice or something like that. They doesn't really contribute to the fight in the middle of the picture and the way she is built in on that frame let me think that she is just decoration :).
On the other hand the Valkyrie in the center doesn't look like Reidane from the miniature and we don't know if this one could be a more important Valkyrie. She is wielding different weapons as the other two and more importantly she is in the center and is more detailed. She could be the guardian of the construct behind her. But I don't know...
The picture is showing us 3 angel, 2 demons, Kaya a giant and some branches or a tree in the background with a gate or building in the center. This piece of art is definitely telling a story.
The demons and angels could just be decor but the confrontation of the giant with Kaya isn't.
That would be awesome if the included hyper borealis as an in set mechanic.
I was thinking about the norse mythology and the 9 world aspect. Magic will probaly give it its own spin and go with 10. Now whether they go with 2colors or 3 colors is debatable. They could actually even go with 3 colors but instead of wedges/shards they could go with 2 colors and a hybrid of lets say 2mana/snow. That could be a version fittin the setting/enviroment which would give us something new. We shall see.
Regarding the planeswalkers kaya is a given and it was mentioned that there would be 4. I would think that ramaz would be the second and any 2 of the following 3, samut basri, calix(given they are from planes with gods) would bring us to 4.

The last thing Kaya was doing was hunting Liliana with Teyo and Rat. If I am not mistaken they got the veil from Liliana and pretended that they killed her. Liliana changed her name to Ana and most likely Kaya, Rat and Teyo separated because the mission was done.
If Ramaz is in Kaldheim he could cover 3 colors. On the only appearance we have from him, he was playing a temur colored deck. Kaya would cover the remaining colors. This put the planeswalker count on 2. We have basically no information about Ramaz other than he was working for Bolas and that Chandra confront/found him in Kaldheim. We don't know if he is from Kaldheim. Chandra is the only character with Bolas that actually had contact with him. Ramaz could just be created for the Duels of the Planeswalkers game. There are no references on cards about him.

I got a Derevi, Empyrial Tactician from a booster and I like most of it. The frame is shiny and glittery. The name-box and the Type-box looks like it is standing out (3d-like). Really nice. I think the picture is slightly worse. I don't know, how to describe it. Darker and more pixelly. The set Icon in the text-box is the ugliest thing in my opinion. I would like to see a white card with this printing method. I have a red one Krark, the Thumbless and that card looks really great. The picture looks alright and the set symbol doesn't seem to be that ugly.

I would love to play one of the new Angels as commmander. Normally I would build a deck for both or for multiple combinations but because of the current situation I don't have the time to play more than one game in the month. So I will focus on one of them.
I like both. I am a little concerned about the hate Liesa would generate but I like the idea about the deck (Group-Slug). I know Kambal, Consul of Allocation is a thing but we have a Muldrotha, the Gravetide and a Chulane, Teller of Tales player in the 4-payer Group and both a very creature heavy decks.
Akroma on the other hand feels a little underwhelming but has partner with could open up some interesting combinations. I would like to combined her with a green commander. Just to have some ramp available. I don't like the combination with Kamahl, Heart of Krosa because both are expensive.
An equipment focus could work well with her, too. But there aren't many useful partner commander with equipment effects other than Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist which would mean I am in mono white territory. I already have a Feather, the Redeemed deck and would like to play another color combination this time. The deck idea would be Keyword-Soup.
What do you mean? Which one could be funnier to play with? With which partner would you combined Akroma?

Aren't those 8/8? 1/1 +3 from Kamahl 4/4 with vigilance, haste, indestructible and trample?
I like the idea with green and going big creatures. Those have the most keywords and some of them spread them around without any other cards like Sephara, Sky's Blade and Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Serra's Guardian, Shalai, Voice of Plenty, Archetype of Courage, Archetype of Endurance, Angelic Skirmisher the new Dawnglade Regent I am sure there are more. The only partner I think of is Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood because she grants mana. Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix and Thrasios, Triton Hero are valid to. I typically try to avoid 3 colored decks because they end up as good stuff decks most of the time.
