Most of spiders have more thougness than power, plus with that mana value i feel it should be 3/5.
It is basically a 6/6 with reach and gain 6 life etb if you have no board. With the upside that you can distribute 3/3 of the stats to a different creature which could attack in the same turn and get more life if you have a creature with more than 3 toughness. I think that's okay for an uncommon with 7 CMC at least for limited.
Every mono white lifegain payoff is appreciated. The card itself is an Enchantment which is the cherry on the icing. Tutor and recursion galore. I am okay with Hall of Heliod's Generosity with the mana cost of W.
Aww, unfortunately. I didn't think it would be super strong but funny to have some peewee angels. Well, other tribes can make better use of this effect like humans.
When there are multiple ETB triggers like Giada, Font of Hope on the field and inspiring Overseer ETBs while Delney is on the field, too. You decide the order right? So I can draw 2 cards because Overseer is still 2 ATK and than I can give him the counter from Giada... And if Giada has 2 ATK I can give Overseer 2 +1/+1 counter. And this would work similar with Serra Redeemer. Karmic Guide has a nice trigger.
Most of the Aftermath cards had no story if I remembered correctly and unfortunately missing flavor text, too. We can just assume what prominent characters have done while defending their plane or afterwards.
I think Niv is the most likely because we have saw him as 5 color legend in the past and some weird combination of hybrid mana cost could be possible.
I think Ezrim is in Azorius color. At least it sounded like he could be a member in the Azorius Senate if he wanted to. So I guess he knows about law magic and that would fit for him, too... being an Archon. Now he is leading the investigation agency which sounds like Azorius, too.
It could be some nephilim kind of card. I think they are the only creatures with more than 3 colors apart from Niv in Ravnica.
MaRo didn't say that it is a creature. It could be an enchantment displaying the new dynamics of the guild pact after the phyrexian invasion or something similar.
Aren't this card just for fun and illigal in every play mode? I thought that only some wotc staff get the cards.
sheldon Menery said the cards are legal in commander for the people who own the card(s).
According to MTG Wiki this is only half true.
From MTG Wiki:
Since these cards don't have the regular Magic card back, they aren't legal in any format but the Commander Rules Committee has made an exception for Commander if the person playing the card is the person whose name is on that card.[6]
The person receiving the card is noted in the right corner above the legal text "TM & C Wizard of the Coast" or under the power and toughness.
i mean I woundn't stop anybody to play those cards if they own them for some reason...
It just came to my mind that the Boros commander Precon could have a new, updated Version of Basandra, Battle Seraph. Something like:
Flying
Your opponents can't cast spells during combat.
Whenever a goaded creature attacks, it deals 1 damage to its controller.
1(R): Goad target creature.
4/4
Or something similar. Even if we don't get a new Version, the old one could be in the deck. She fits the theme.
I normally like every form of card advantage on my Angels but usually on 3 to 4 mana cards. I am not sure if new Aurelia isn't too slow to be relevant for that. She is basically a Serra Angel with haste at least. I like that she can trigger on opponents turns, too. I honestly think she is a lot better than she might look at the first glance.
Doesn't Giada decks prefer cheap angels like this? And in addition this Angel is a generator for more Angels. I hope they give us a new Angel in the Ixalan style... This artwork is nice. In my opinion better than the original Resplendent Angel but I won't get any copies. It is to expensive for just a style update.
