Try to play smarter, maybe upp the number of cards with flash & instants. Cheaper spells that you can chain in a single turn might also help. Spells with flashback also might help. Evasion on tokens or protection from colours might help against the non-counter answers your opponent has. Pro blue makes auras drop off.
Abolisher atleast demands an answer in his turn. Silence also demands a counter, while only one turn it can't be bounced or taken from you. There's also Aether Vial & Cavern of Souls if you want to throw money at the problem.
I don't quite understand the procedure that ended up costing you money, but it sounds like an expensive lesson in 'don't trust random people'. Atleast you're still young and it's not (atleast I hope so) back-breakingly expensive.
You might as well have removed the link by now. Assuming it's the one to the goblin.
Anyways, best wishes &.
As for BNG, the set does have a bunch of interesting cards, maybe the most since ... Innistrad, as well as cards I expect to not do well (tribute & inspired will have a huge variance in playability). It's a shame that they already got rid of monstrosity. I don't like them spewing out new abilities each set and then doing only a handfull of cards. I understand that it's less risky for them, that it's an experimental nature, that makes limited more diverse - but as a constructed player and s.o. interested in card design, some mechanics deserve more depth. Back to BNG, all but General, Hero & Shieldmate are atleast interesting, the only thing speaking against Hero being that I don't like this type of card. For blue, Mindreaver and the counter suck, the rest again is ok. Reaver being a worse 'reprint' and the counter, well I wrote the MUC primer, you know my stance on this. Wave is outright hilarious and Tromokratis' only fault is that its hexproof clause is sort of an insult, acknowleding I'll be happy 'bout it, if it's on the other side. Black's prerelease promo is simply too expensive, Herald I think will not perform well, and that Pulsetracker thing still is a 1/1 body. "Oh it's great against an empty board." What body worth playing isn't? Nothing to say on red. Only that the fixed Kiki really got fixed hard, and yet it looks interesting (solid stats). Green's heroic and tribute cards so far and the card against flyers... suck. But atleast the flyer hate most often does. Multicolour, what to say on a random 5C critter... I know what song I'll have in mind if I ever face it. The Ephara cards both have great artwork and are engine-y, so I approve. The other gods atleast have stunning artwork, while their abilties don't make me want to play them. Of the rest only Fanatic and Follower strike me as good. Monger's issue is that his tribe sucks, on a competitive level. Cheaper cows still are cattle.
We're not in the cutting phase, if I understood things right. The guy (alex) who put the deck into cutting phase is new, was told what he just did unknowingly and revoked his addition.
Molten-Tail Masticore & Vampire Nighthawk might be worth thinking about. Once we cut some cards. Masticore's (89c for Chinese copies) provides a fat Body & direct damage, using a resource the deck should have plenty of, to end a game. The discard might be managable, with Witness, maybe Treefolk, maybe Imp, and certainly March, to bring back discarded cards. Tho I wouldn't be too keen on keeping one around for too long unless it is profitable, March can get. F.e. considering the deck looks like it will have STEs, it might get to 8, and if we can get back one with a second copy, the Opponent Needs to deal with both during one turn, lest he faces a potential 8 damage to the face (stack triggers, sac one, activate the other's damage ability twice, then you ould even ditch the second) on untap.
Hawk (Chinese also being cheaper :weird:) simply is an evasive quality body, that if recurred enough grind down out a lot of fair decks.
So basically, T2 Mono Black Devotion with 25$ budget for outside standard cards?
Funny how Abysall Persecutor is cheaper than Desecration Demon, same goes for Geralf's Messenger and the Specter.
I guess the removal suite could use an upgrade. Go for the Throat hits most things, more so if you focus on the standard card pool.
Shriekmaw is 0.75 per card. Atleast those in stock at SP condition.
You said you wouldn't vote on Shaman, voted against Order because of it and yet added a vote to cut four. I assume that was done by mistake. so the deck currently is:
That's the cutest little spikey pumpkin ever. Too bad these are proly not legal pets 'round here. Not that I'm a pet person. Anyways. I always loved to feed them when we had wild ones in our garden, but it's been ages since I've seen one that's not roadkill. Too many cats maybe. Bad trade. I'm biased. My first plush animal was a hedgehog.
At a wall. How disappointing. Is this the time for Tower of Coireall to shine? On a more serious note, get a text book from your college's library (I assume you're still studying brains *?* [if so, I should correct my previous lark to 'Bad Shamy.']) or try de- or merging comments made and deploy some theory you already ken.
Ash Zealot - Poor girl does look mighty lonely as sole 2cmc critter. Stigma Lasher atleast shuts down life decks.
Increasing Vengeance - Can only copy your spells, and I don't think yours are worth it.
Act of Agression - Just feel like asking if Grab the Reins might be better. It doesn't untap and doesn't cost up to 4 life, but well you see what it does do.
Chain Reaction - Never impressed me. Blasphemous Act usually served me better.
Shatterstorm - Playing all these artifacts, this imho should rather be Vandal Blast or Shattering Spree.Yes, the regeneration clause. Can't have everything.
Seer's Sundial - Mind's Eye is a thing.
Quietus Spike - I don't think you have either enough nor the right creatures for this. It triggers off combat damage.
Argentum Armor - dito.
Pandemonium - dito.
Spine - Begs for Phyrexian Core.
1st, deck tag. Put [DECK][/DECK] around your list. You can change settings in the user control panel so that you get a bunch of tag icons above your 'description field' (s.o. tell me how you call the place we type our posts in :B:).
- Solfatara and Turf Wound are not exactly LD, and while tey set back your opponent by a turn, this deck is probably not the one to use them, because you can't back that tempo gain up by a reasonably fast clock.
- Raze with only playing 12 lands. Bad idea.
- Playing 12 lands. Bad idea. Even with eight potent mana cogs. That by being four offs are certainly not adding to the awareness of others of your deck as being a fair one. I guesstimate you mull a lot hands, and Vault without Key is not something I'd want to keep in this list.
- Soldier and Rider are also problematic. I mean, Soldier is just bad, by givign the op. a very easy way of dealing with it. And Rider needs you be able to pay its Echo.

Play more lands, play more 3cmc Stone Rain variants. Maybe Boom, Scorched Earth or Strip Mines.
Play better finishers. Red got a lot efficient beats lately.

if one may ask, why?

Your mana base looks greedy with 35 land for that curve. Kumano, Master Yamabushi is kind of neat.Smoke / Mudslide provide interesting offcolour effects. With the high number of basics, Ruination and other nonbasic hate might be worth considering - if your playgroup is ok with it. War Elemental is also cute, kind like a *ahem* more red Taurean Mauler. Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep for flavour reasons.
I would cast more votes to cut, but I already did. And as far as additions go, a tad uninspired, after seeing Blood Artist costs 10$ the set. *frown*
Minor change, if you want to keep Seismic Stomp, Falter does the same at instant speed.
Cat token / sac a creature to gain life
Rim // Shot
/ direct dmg
4 sol ring
4 mana vault
4 voltaic key
4 Solfatara
4 Turf Wound
4 Pardic Miner
4 Stone Rain
4 Avalanche Riders
4 Kaervek's Torch
4 Raze
4 Aftershock

are all with wording combinations I can think of ... and of course, every Clone/Control Magic variant ever.
edit: Sir Magic Toast is right.. On that note: Acquire, Telemin Performance, Thought Dissector & Helm of Obedience. There's also a bunch of Reanimate variants that allow you to plunder any graveyard.
