That's ok. I am also a hopeless romantic. Like, when I watch movies, and the main character screws up before he gets the girl and you think everything is lost and hopeless for the two of them, that's when my heart breaks.
Hell, my heart broke in Ratatioullie!
I will be doing the big portion of my move today, and will be unsure about internet access up until the weekend. I will do my best to post and keep up, but as of now I am sans computer. Sorry.
I don't like the sound of this...I hate responding to these things, they get so confusing. I'm already confusing this game with Prehistoric anyway...:P
Anyway, this is a post to warn everyone that I am making the major move to WSU (My new college) today, and am uncertin about internet connection until possibly the weekend. I'll do my best, but as of right now, I am sans computer. :/
If this was out of character for you I would vote you on this. Alas, you've been doing this all game...
Anyway, in response to Sneaks, I will respond to the general points made.
On AKid: This was obviously bery awkward of a lynch for me, but you have to realize that I was never defending AKid. I may have been fighting for the same side as him (Against Cat), but I never had his back at anypoint. My beef with Cat was just that, my own personal beef. What I saw happening was me attacking her at the beginning of her AKid Confrontation, and then AKid popping in now and then to barn my attacks. It seemed like once I took over, he disappeared and left me to do all the work. That's the main reason that I eventually flipped and voted AKid.
On weird cases: Yeah, when I get on a roll, I say weird stuff like some of that stuff. I really don't know how to defend it, because My mind was racing at a fast pace, and at the time I was fully concentrated on mafia and mafia only. I get obsessive with cases, as you can tell from the Cat case, so I always end up saying stupid things that I regret later.
On the not voting at the end of the case: He had a pile of votes on him at the time! And he claimed cop! It's kind of important to wait for a counterclaim. You don't just lynch a claimed cop to see what happens. So yeah, no vote. That should be self explainatory.
On Laying Low: So, Like I've said in other games, I'm moving into a new school, working two jobs, one is night shift, getting thing prepared for the new school, and trying to have a personal life all right now. This was not happening a few months back when I was writing 6 tl;dr posts a day. I wouldn't say that I'm laying low, because I'm doing this in every game I'm in right now. There hasen't been much to talk about, and I haven't had the time to talk anyway.
On Sneaky's Case on a whole: This case is built around my case on AKid, which I will admit probably had a few problems with it. However, you can find classic Genuine BigTime in this case! One of my biggest points was AKid contradicting stuff. If you ever played in a game with me, I'm sure you've heard me ranting and raving about how scummy contradictions are. I hate them more than anything, and I always blow them out of proportion.
For the most part though, all I can see as the main attack on me is that Sneaky thinks most of my AKid case was insincere. All I can say is no, and then it's a he said he said. The case was not the greatest in the world, but it was far from the scummiest either.
Also, if what FadeBlue says is true, Krowzy does seem like the lynch. Vote Krowzy
Dimitri darts in with his blade aimed at the back of the monsters leg (Right around where a normal human's ACL would be) and slices the leg, immidiatly jumping back out of reach as much as he can.
I assumes there will be an explaination post, so I'll wait patiently.
This is part me just checking in, but this post reeks of insincerity and convienence.
"Is there another way? Is it possible to get to the delta center going back where we came? That might be easier."
As soon as Aliyah gave Dimitri a solid answer, he was bolted in the best direction, whether it be the direction of the monster, or a safer route.
On Cyan: the issue is WIFOMy. All I'm saying is that you were completly ignoring the rest of the issues the town was addressing, and you were bringing up scummy attacks on a lurker. That speaks more to your character than Cyan's.
On Double Standard: Really, I'm doing my best here. I'm pretty sure that after a while I became a bit more understanding of your situation, and I dropped that argument. Also, I am going through a very hectic schedule right now. Two jobs, one is third shift, three games, lots of reading, moving to a new college town, enrolling etc. in said college, and trying to keep a personal life as well. My time is packed. Sorry...
On the Lurker FMJ/WoD issue: Yeah, I stand by this argument. WoD is a chronic lurker, so it's more likely that he will be attacked for lurking/while he's lurking. FMJ is not. You are in this game and the other few games with FMJ right? You should already know from the other game that FMJ was having issues with moving or something. Someone was asking about him, and someone who knows him said he was having problems setting up in his new place. So cross-apply that information to this scenario.
Since when is it ok to attack a guy in one game for lurking and not in another?
It was actually really funny the way it worked out, with the pregame chatter of X-Men and the role I have. I really overdid it yesterday, and it got annoying for everyone. Like I said earlier, I don't have to do it every post, just a few times a day. I haven't been concerned with it lately because I've gotten it out of the way for today. You can expect the beginning of every day from now on to have my restriction out of the way.
So, that would be the card that me and Magic Prof. submit. He did the basic design, the name and everything, I found the art, rarity, P/T and flavor.
Lemme tell you, I searched long and hard for art that would work well. I settled for this art, but maybe I'm too picky. I would have liked to see something more flashy, but I've been looking for a week and that's the best I can do...
Enough complaining! Art aside, I still love this challange.
I'll have to poke through Day 1 to see if there were any connections between Tanarin and anyone else, but seeing as he was modkilled for lurking, my hopes are low...
A bad excuse? Double standards? Explain yourself sir!
It's clearly easy to see how I can get lost here. Not only am I in three games, one of which I had to reread 50 pages of junk, but I also have to dig through other people PBPA's while still defending my own in two games. Add in a hectic outside life and WHAM! I miss some stuff. Call it an excuse if you want, but I'm just too busy to read wall-posts right now. Rest assured though, I will read the cases in full in due time.
