Hey FlyingDelver, what are your thoughts on the Forked Bolt in the main? It was in early iterations of the deck but dropped for better maindeck options, such as LotV, Brutality, etc.
Hi guys, just wanting to know how you all keep track of your triggers when playing in paper? I'm fairly interested in this deck as it does something unique and different that I'd like to have fun with. Thanks in advance!
Do you think that the split between 1 terminate / 1 dreadbore is still worth it or do we have to play 2 terminate ?
It just depends on the expected meta you're going into. Personally, with Jeskai on the rise and Teferi making waves, it helps to improve our matchup against thay deck and planeswalkers in general and is still pretty decent creature removal, so I would run it until decks with planeswalkers are at an all time low.
Hi guys! Way to keep Mardu going! I had a question: why is there a trend of playing three basic Swamps in the main now? Isn't the third just unnecessary? I've never found myself needing a third swamp, but I don't play any Lilliana in my deck, mainly because I can't afford any right now. So why 3?
It's way too narrow to play in our board for how diverse modern is.
Ship it back. There are better hands you can mulligan into.
Also, there is a white Eldrazi Stompy list that's been putting up really strong results in the last week or two, including a top 8 finish in the Modern PTQ and another top 4 finish in the Modern Challenge. https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/mtgo-standings/modern-ptq-2018-05-29#none
Any thoughts on the list?
I've already watched that. Was really good, made me excited to try the deck out. There just isn't any good game play content.
