Purple tends to be a black color in magic, look at profane command or profane prayers. I am pretty sure there are other examples but those came to mind first. The only angel that has had red in its casting cost but not white is akroma, angel of fury. Granted by my logic there has also been a couple mono black angels and there is black in grixis colors, but the revealed casting costs shown do make sense for a BW angel.
Ok, so the orb says that it pretty much has no comes into play ability since the name only shows up once. How about a 4/4 flying, death touch, vigilance, life link for 2BBWW? It would be legendary and mythic. Ok, so I am kinda dreaming.
By my calculations it would be undercosted by about one mana symbol. 1BWW for the 4/4 flying, 1 for the vigilance, B for the deathtouch, and with a free tacked on ability of lifelink. I know this is pie in the sky, but with the two revealed casting costs of 3BBW and 2BBWW I really hope one or both are good angels.
Also the destroy target non-creature pemenant is one of nicol bolas's abilties and he doesnt have green in his casting cost. It makes sense if you think of it like that.
How about:
Lava Land
Swamp/Mountain (or to make less powerful they dont have the land types)
CIPT unless you control a mountain or a Swamp
Tap: Add R or B to your mana pool.
I see this as usable, you have to use a basic land your first turn if you want to play anything and promotes 2 color decks. It also makes playing more then 2 colors slower and harder since the more non basics you use the more often your lands will come into play tapped if they dont have the land type. Also it is elegant and simple and something that a beginner can understand and doesnt take up a lot of text.
I like the idea of legendary dual man lands. Something like taps for R or G and tap RG to turn into a red/green, 3/3 trample, first strike until end of turn. These could be rare and they could make 5 if they want them to just be allied colors or 10 if they want to add enemy colors also.
WU could be 2/3 flying, shroud
BR could be 2/1 double strike, fear
ect.
Since they are legendary and you probably wouldnt want more then 2 of the same one in your deck incase you screw up you land draws, and there is the fact that if a certain one becomes popular the legendary rule will keep it in check because players will be blowing up each others manlands. The lands could be considered gold because they turn into gold creatures when activated.
I am not really sure why the twilight sheperds are there. I guess I you think you are going to keep wrathing over and over. I would try to maybe put Nekretal instead to better work with revillark or that persist guy that pings, I forgot his name. The one thing I am scared of is what your manabase will need to be, it seems you need all your colors pretty early, maybe 6 filters, 2 of each of the relevent ones and maybe 2 of each pain and 4 sanctums, then round out the rest with basic lands altough you will need to test to see the numbers of each you will need.
I hope to take the sweepers with the sculler or post board thoughtseize as for jace double blue early is a bit too hard. With this deck you have to not go all in unless you got a sick draw, bait out the removal and sweepers. Also I like the versitility of Espercharm as draw, discard or very important in my deck, destrol target bitterblossom.
As for oonas black guard, it doesnt do anything if I dont have ajani and a 1/1 flyer for 2 is not the most efficient. I made this deck with the idea that I will never draw a dead card, I will never be sad to draw a certain card late game.
This is the continuation of the B/W/u Resilience deck I have been working on for months. This has a couple of conflux cards and it is playing a bit more like a control deck, but is not really control. A guy said it was a tempo deck and that made sense to me. So the new name is from the namesake 4 Profane Commands in the deck that I am so fond of.
I played in a tournament today and went 2-1. Beat kithkin and 5 color, lost to a W/U "aggro control" deck that had a lot of Merfolk but wasnt really a merfolk deck. Kithin was pretty easy, 5 color wasnt too hard in the games I won and he squeaked out the win when he did win one. The W/U merfolk deck was 3 close games. Well this is the deck list.
One thing people I think are missing about this is you dont go all the way with the first one you play, it will get killed after a couple turns of fixing your mana and becoming a 5/5 or so. When you play your next one a few turns later it is automatically bigger from the work the first one did and is a cheap beat stick that does work if it needs to.
I remember reading somewhere that nicolbolas is bringing the shards back together because the mana he got from breaking them apart was running out. It sounds like once the shards get back together there will be a new source of mana. This new mana could be the hook like maybe barrys land or maybe a cycle of lands that tap for two of their color but can only be used to play a certain type of spell? Green - Creatures, white - enchantments, blue - artifacts, red - instants and for black anything but shocks you or sorceries?
By my calculations it would be undercosted by about one mana symbol. 1BWW for the 4/4 flying, 1 for the vigilance, B for the deathtouch, and with a free tacked on ability of lifelink. Slave of Bolas 2WWBB
Creature - Angel Mythic
Flying
When Slave of Bolas comes into play, destroy target non-creature permenant.
5/5
I would also like if it had lifelink too, but that might be a bit much. If it did have another ability it would probably be legendary.
