Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner is ramp and the necessary draw effect in one card.
Nissa, Who Shakes the World basically takes you to 10 mana.
Springbloom Druid seems might be useful as far as land ramp is concerned.
Wall of Blossoms also got the green wall of walls. (haven't used this since legacy)
So far this is the version i'm piloting in testing, I'd like to know what you guys think, I don't have the strongest grasp yet on the new modern horizon meta.

to kill gaddock teeg, (which typically the green white decks that he's played in come with small creatures to begin with) just about any of our creatures paired with Domri Rade is good creature removal.
all and all eternal witness with black splash for assassin's trophy pretty good for the deck these days.
Since fnm I swapped serum vision for faithless looting.
I thinking I may have to cut away at my planeswalkers to make it better.
What combination of sorcery and instants would you use for finale of promise?
1 nicol bolas, god-pharaoh
2 nicol bolas, dragon-god
2 liliana of the dark realms
3 chandra, torch of defiance
3 liliana of the veil
4 opt
3 lightning bolt

1 bedevil

3 collective brutality
3 blightning

In hind sight the serum visions probably need to be faithless looting to optimize the graveyard for finale.
Liliana of the dark realms isn't the best, but when i was making the deck it made sense for getting lands out of the deck and getting to 7cc nicol bolas. plus another creature destruction effect. putting +5/+5 to kalitas, was relevant though in one match up. Basically I was thinking she'd be a chandra 4-5. seeing as I only have 3 chandra

All of a sudden we want to be less vulnerable to turn 2 negate when casting our 3cc mana dork/enchantment?
compared to genesis wave you are getting all the lands you hit. But your not getting the mana ramp and non legendary stuff you hit. Which most of the planeswalker lists revolve around hitting walkers, so the legendary clause of Vow doesn't seem that restrictive.
plus your 1 less green with vow, than genesis.
I'm still back and forth on her. hitting a 3 mana play makes a huge difference. I feel like it need to be overgrowth,
that gets even crazier if you have extra untap effects, beyond garruk or arbor elf. But my point is they are for not without a sprawl or something to get extra mana per tap.
It might see odd to point out but even Weirding Wood feels viable in the 3cc spot because of the investigate token. While not as abusive as 3 mana per tap, it gives a card draw. Overgrowth is always the target of Cryptic bounce land or ghost quarter.
I'been playing a deck with nicol bolas, dragon-god but realized it needs something to bring back planeswalker win conditions. which kind of puts my grixis build closer to ultimatum build if i put dark imitations in it.
In most builds i've been testing I've been finding the 3cc spot still needs to be overgrowth.
Maybe its just me but turn 4, hasn't consistently been 6/7 mana for me in many games without over growth.
lastly the card draw off Kiora, behemoth beckoner has been pretty low. 1 exta card doesn't make or break game, if the titan or Genesis hydra is landing.
the last 4 spots is the win condition planeswalker I originally wanted something that makes tokens, but then realized this deck has bolt snap bolt going on, So it only seemed to make sense to use Chandra, Torch of Defiance, That way when Dragon-god lands he is either doubling up on lilly's effect with his own version of discard or he's shooting and looting with chandra.

In building this Angrath, Captain of Chaos caught my attention since he is on color and makes an amass token and grows it. Menace isn't all that necessary since the board is pretty well wiped.
On top of that Widespread Brutality looked interesting as well.
Some number of Invade the City doesn't seem unviable either.
when you use the abilities to transform the planeswalker to creature, does it replace the names of gideon and sarkhan for nicol bolas?
or would this ability look for gideon/sarkhan and fizzle since bolas isn't either of them?
Yahenni's expertise just my preference since i can chain off of it and it hits most of the meta right now that swarms.
Should the only counter magic be cryptic command then?
how relevant is retrieving dead snapcaster mage off of kolaghan's command?
that was the thinking behind shriekmaw initially.
I assumed the same would be relevant is liliana, the last hope was in the deck.
I found that
tarmogoyf
grim flayer
steelleaf paladin
tasigur, the golden fang
are creatures you wanna use.
trying to support delirium and delve forces you to run street wraith and mishra's bauble type cards for getting the yard full.
I came to the realization thought that I'm playing back Sultai or Rock strategies with her.
The real abuse of her trigger ability seems to be in Green devotion. There you get use out of that untap ability to further abuse your ramp spells. the abuse comes from either gaea's anthem + garruk wildspeaker or rampaging baloths I found that baloths is best. Every land drop is a card draw.
Tried my hand at making a grixis list but realized i made that classic mistake. went half discard spells and half counter magic.
for modern grixis whats the best plan counter spells or discard?
In a 4 round tournament I went 3 ties against rock, blue red kiki combo/control, blue white control. Got a bye round 3 cause of my 2 ties
