still though its at the top of the website when you arrive. not what im use to seeing. more avid visitors might even go as far as to say "expect to see"
I was testing something similar to your previous deck, turning all the 4/X into kiora, cantrips.
Also tapped into one of your old fun cards genesis hydra
I chose to use white and splash sorin, lord of innistrad to make the 3/3s into 4/3s permanently.
4x Arbor Elf
2x Birds of Paradise
4x grim flayer (probably should just be tarmogoyf/steelleaf paladin but wanted the dig ability)
2x eternal witness
1x emrakul, the promised end
4x genesis hydra
1x walking balista
3x oath of nissa
4x Utopia Sprawl
2x mishra's bauble
3x assassin's trophy
3x Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner
4x Garruk Wildspeaker
1x garruk, primal hunter
2x sorin, lord of innistrad
20 land
Sideboard has 4 obstinate baloth
was pondering whether cloudstone curio and genesis hydra be a good combination, seems like its bouncing would let you dig deeper and deeper if the game was grinding.
does it make pyretic ritual cost or keep it at ?
also what about free to cast spells like cascade or electrodominance which remove the casting cost?
does it replace those free casts with ?
on similar topic, i've been messing around with convoke for 4 chord of calling 4 March of the Multitudes. results have been pretty nice, End of Opponents Turn put some tokens on the field, or chord for ramp creatures, next turn garruk wildspeaker or Nissa, voice of zendikar what ever the situation allows. However I want to drop March of secure the wastes due to mana efficientcy (plus i didn't know it existed when i started this.)
but i find you need the life link from March's soldier tokens again Izzet Pheonix, and sometimes other burn variants. X 1/1 life link tokens cancel out arclight Pheonix or holds back the transformed thing in the ice
Promised end's costs comes down to about 9 on average in most games. (creature, land, planeswalker and/or enchantment), your opponent interacting with you gets that delirium going.
also being creature you can primal command for it. Unlike tooth and nail
if your ramp hits 12 mana, mind slaver and 13/13 trample is just as devastating a final devastation.
Wish they would just print cabal therapy in modern.
Begining of the main phase isn't conducive to effective cabal therapy use.
already I main board 1 khalni garden 1 bojuka bog 1 radiant fountain

I'm wondering if it is also necessary for over coming burn match ups?

I was thinking of trying 4 Gonti, Lord of Luxury in that spot.
Which wouldn't make much sense if that spots critical for the life gain and graveyard disruption all in one.
All the same though stealing opponents resources can be useful.
I keep using the thread search feature to find threads talking about Semblance Anvil, and nothing new is coming g up.
I know the card spiked and is used in a deck or new combo, but I can't figure out which deck/thread is talking about the new use for Semblance Anvil.
Can someone link me the thread if you know which one it is?
Thanks
I was using her last night and I'm very pleased with the card draw results. While she isn't right off the bat contributing to devotion, abrupt decay on a stick was useful multiple occasions and late game destroying reduntant arbor elves and Utopia sprawls and extra copies of nykthos or other dead draws was more than useful. She's in the same space as tireless tracker when you get down to it. But unlike tracker she eats anything for the card draw effect, not just land drops.

4 primeval titan
4 rune-scarred demon
4 arbor elf
1 birds of paradise
1 eternal witness
2 courser of kruphix
1 liliana, the last hope
1 vraska, golgari queen
3 garruk wildspeaker
4 liliana of the veil
3 assassin's trophy
1 slaughter pact
3 fatal push
4 utopia sprawl
2 kessig wolf run
1 bojuka bog
1 khalni garden
1 stomping ground
4 overgrown tomb
4 verdent catacomb
2 wooded foot hills
1 swamp
8 forest
[deck]
sideboard is got slaughter pact, tormod's crypt, surgical extraction, dismember, Mindbreak Trap in varying numbers. I was designing the deck to be able to tap out on a rune-scarred demon and have a tool box of answers for games 2 and 3. So far i'm happy with the way demon has performed in games 2 and 3 getting me 1 card answers (some times hail maries, cause i need them as stoppers.)
roughest match up seems to be spirits i'm 0-4 against this in games.
trons never been a huge threat.
arclight pheonix decks occationally get me by surprise. 2/3 3 surgicals in the side seems to keep that shut off.
What do you think if BIG Rock?
I feel like you'd get more out of say a Akki Rockspeaker or other 2cc shaman that chains in off the burning trees.
(looking at the Akki, i was imagining you'd get then play any of 1cc spells.)
