Let's say I have a darksteel citadel, a mox opal and an atog in play, and I have a fling in my hand. Is there any way to maximize damages by getting my two manas, sacrificing the darksteel and the mox, attacking with the atog, dealing damages with atog, then using the two manas in mana pool to cast a fling ? I would assume that you can't because mana pool gets emptied at the end of each step and because you can't cast instant during damage step, but I wanna make things sure.
Okay, thank you !
If I give hexproof to a creature in response to an targeting card that cannot get countered, will the targeting card resolves or not ?
if I flash alpha authority on a creature blocked by two creatures, what happen ? I know that if you flash a card that grant hexproof to a targeted card, it will not be a valid target anymore at resolution, but blocking doesn't go on the stack, and it's not an ability, so what happen ?
Same for spirit mantle.
Also if I flash shapers's sanctuary in response to the targeting of one of my creature, do I draw ?
I have a question here, let's say I attack with my Viscera seer, my opponent respond with Path to exile, I chain Makeshift mannequin, targeting Protean hulk in my grave, resolution start, I summon Protean hulk, then, can I use my Viscera seer at that moment to sacrifice it or not ?
I have a very simple question, why would you choose Blood Moon over Magus of the Moon ?
I play affinity and I saw some builds having 1 Blood Moon in side deck, which I understand, but in an aggro deck, why not playing the Magus, especially that he fits well with Springleaf drum. I can see that one of the interest would be that in general it's more difficult to get rid of an enchantment than a creature, but I feel like it would not be a big deal here, since we can just keep our magus, not attacking when it could kill him, and we would have the same benefits than a blood moon but the potential to attack or to be a mana fuel for springleaf.
Also there I've been explaining my question for Affinity but I would like to know for other decks as well, what would make you play an enchantment over a creature that has the exact same cost and ability.
Thank you for your answers.
Okay, I think I understood. Thank you !
So in general because I have to sac it to trigger the modular I shoud sac himself on another stack since modular will be immediatly put on the top of it, so I don't loose the benefit of other counters.
Very clear, thank you very much !
Last details, can I respond to my arcbound ability with the same ability and get many counters at the same time at the resolution or do I have to activate its ability once at a time ?
Also in the scenario where Arcbound dies middle of the resolution of the stack, does the counters move immediatly or after the resolution ?
Ok, thank you !
So I can response with arcbound sac ability to its own sac ability to sac multiple artifacts and put multiple counters on him, then sac him to put everything on inkmoth ? So after the blockers are declared I can start as many distincts stacks as I want as long as the timing (instant) is correct ? (Like one stack for nexus, resolve, one stack for arcbound sac ability many times activated in response to itself, resolve, and one final stack to sac arcbound to put everything on inkmoth ?)
I have 1 Arcbound Ravager and 1 inkmoth nexus in my lands. Can I attack with my creatures, and after my opponent declares his blockers, use inkmoth nexus ability to turn him into a creature then use Arcbound ability more than once and sac himself to put everything on inkmoth ?
Thank you
