I feel like if I went the political route people might get salty. I mean there's nothing wrong with them deciding to team up against me to turn this strategy on its head. I'd just rather avoid this becoming such a problem deck.
Geier Reach Sanitarium was added because someone at my lgs suggested it since I'm running land tutors. as a counter to Thassa's oracle, which is a common wincon there.
Thats the thing, I dont play cedh yet.
It's not even a functional deck yet. Usually I just get a deck working, and then gradually upgrade it, but I feel like that isn't gonna cut it for cedh?
I have an idea for a deck that I *think* has potential.
I slapped together a rough draft version last night online. Rn I'm struggling to figure out how to tune it in a way that's at that power level tho. any advice?
I'm building a combo deck that goes off by casting Thrasta, Tempest's Roar infinitely. However, if something goes wrong there's a good chance I won't be able to cast Thrasta again.
How do people feel about goad?
With the end goal to finish up with cards like act of treason, reflect damage, etc.
Sounds hilarious to me, but worried people dying to their own commander might be too much of a feels bad strat?
I assume mask is still limited to damage that was dealt during that specific damage step, right?

If I have 2 life, a Cemetery Gatekeeper that exiled a land, and play Glacial Chasm, do I take the damage?
I recently learned that first strike + ninjutsu for normal strike damage = pseudo double strike.
Does this mean that I can hit someone with etrata, ninjitsu her back to hand, and then immediately ninjutsu her back out for a 2nd hit?
Ah, didn't know wirewood symbiote 'only once each turn' restriction only applied per symbiote.
Genesis Storm comes to mind as a possible option. Stuff like Season of Growth lets me get my backup plan in place.
Alternatives to thrasta, might be a better solution. Any other creatures that can easily be recast for infinite storm/etbs?

Temur Sabertooth + Ornithopter works
