Replicator doesn't need a Mox, ANY draw engine goes infinite with it. It also turns a 1-drop into the ability to retrieve another 1-drop (or a 2, or a KCI).
Also, the sequence is REALLY easy to screw up. I've tried writing it out, and it's like 11 steps in the right order.
With a Trawler it turn ANY card we cast into anything from he GY for 1 extra mana. If you have a 1-drop it's 2 net mana and hopefully card draw every cast. If you have a 2 drop, it's 1 net mana. It loops WAY better than Retriever. It's pricier, but you don't have to be as careful saccing early. Sac all of your 2-drops to cast it and trawler, you're still fine as long as you can drop SOMETHING.
It completely eliminates that awkward loop we all try to remember right.
I get run over by things like Hollow One and Combo. Combo seems BRUTAL because they can usually go off even if we get a LD spell cast, or they just keep playing lands and stalling until we miss a LD and THEN go. Specifically Storm and Devoted Druid...
Anything with Remand seems to be a 50/50, but I can sometimes bait them out. D&T and Burn/Mono Red are tough if they get a good start.
I run it. I side out my black cards just in case (minus the graveyard ones). It just straight blanks Tron, at least long enough for you to beat them over the head.
Sory to say it but cranial plating is so bad, sigil for me is playable but bonesaw is better most of times when we consider games when paladin is attacker
Golem-Skin Gauntlets Seems better than Plating. I run that as a 1-of, haven't had to use it yet.
Predator Ooze has been doing good work against decks without White. He just straight blanks things like Foundry Street Denizen and Death's Shadow. Garruk hasn't come down enough to form an opinion.
As for the Temur Sabertooth over the Stampeding Serow... Sometimes he's amazing because they kill what you'd like to keep playing. Sometimes he sucks because it's 2 more mana to cast something again... My spiciest play was against a Sliver deck where everything was flying. I had a Boat load of mana thanks to Nykthos, so I bounced Cloudthresher and replayed it twice. THAT cleared the board.
I was thinking about some weird tech earlier. Not really the right shell, but Teshar + 2 Ballistas/Walkers for 0 = infinite recursion. Seems abusable somehow. Maybe Altar of the Brood? The issue is ending the loop.
If you're not running Ancient grudge, then absolutely!

Mishra's Self-Replicator is HOUSE.

sac draw card, sac creature, either myr/trawler returns the 1 CMC draw and we have 4 mana. Play 1 CMC -> 3 mana, Creature returns, rinse and repeat.
Cast KCI, bring BACK a Myr/Trawler...? Is he win-more or inevitability or resilience?
