If you were to have multiple triggers at the same moment (ie at the beginning of your upkeep or the beginning of your end step), how is it decided what triggers first?
I've always thought they'd happen in order of what entered the battlefield most recently backwards to what entered first.
If Zealous Conscripts enters the battlefield at the beginning of the end step how does the ability trigger?
Ie would i gain control of a creature for the whole of the following turn or would it immediately return to its owners control?
If the latter, can i sacrifice it first?
Hey everyone. I just re-built myself a deck using Marchesa, the Black Rose as my new commander after having a sacrifice based Breya deck. So I've taken out all of the white and added life payment triggers and sac outlets etc.
It's been discussed on here before about using Marchesa to permanently gain control of my opponents creatures which all makes sense and is self explanatory for the most part anyway.
But here is my question. Lets say i gain control of an opponents commander using Highjack, say Atraxa for example, put a +1/+1 counter on her and sacrifice her to Bloodflow Connoisseur.
If my opponent chooses to have Atraxa return to his command zone will that alter Marchesa's ability or will it just return to my board under my control like everything else. My thoughts are that Atraxa would still return to me as Marchesa doesn't care where the creature goes, only that it died under my control with a +1/+1 counter. But I'd like to clarify for my friends who think the Command zone is a magical place of safety.
Glad that's cleared up
