I see Kitchen Finks in a lot of sideboards. Do you just bring this in vs. Burn and other aggressive decks? Or, is it a plan against the grindy decks like Jeskai, UW, and BGx, too? I'm currently playing Invisible Stalker in that spot. Maybe we can discuss the pros and cons to each plan?
I was trying out the Salvager of Secrets as a way to loop with Outcomes and Expertise. It was good in one game, but not needed. It's also very slow.
I beat Mono Green, largely on the back of bounce spells and Zahid. He started agressively targeting my artifacts and I didn't care because a 5/6 flyer was beating him down. We might consider this guy as part of a transformation package with Karn. The clock becomes fast, it blocks Steel-Leaf Champion, and our Expertise can turn into tempo cards. Also, you can improvise his alternate casting cost.
Essence Scatter was also great in multiple matchups. Why haven't we been playing this card?
I'm playing the SCG Open and Classic (if I don't Day 2) this weekend. This would likely be my Classic list:
I've been having some success with Salvager of Secrets as a way to loop Outcomes and Expertise. Has anyone tried this? It creates some inevitability once your mana engine is up, and it allows you to use early Outcomes and Expertise and refuel up later.
I'm doing some testing tonight. I'll post my list after some results.
Spooly -- Do you like the blue enough to keep it over Lingering Souls? Souls seems well positioned against the Jace and BBE decks. The switch gives up percentages against burn, combo, and big mana (though, maybe not with 3 Fulminator Mage in the sideboard). I've grown to dislike the blue cards in the grindy matchups. Wouldn't the switch to white help all our iffy matchups, while not hurting our good ones enough to make them unfavorable?
Lingering Souls seems much better positioned against this metagame than Stubborn Denial, but this list is heavy on the blue. Manamporhose also wants a more proactive gameplan and Souls is a better fit.

Thoughts on 4 Manamorphose going forward?
