Hm, I guess not, unless they've somehow printed split creatures by now (but not flip/doublesided cards, I know those have a default setting in a way that split cards don't) for this to become a valid question re. power/toughness. Tbh I was just trying to extrapolate mtg rules to a different game
Thanks for your assistance!
Ah, hmm, this looks a lot more specific than I remember (but I've been away from mtg for many years). Is there no general "if the game asks for a single value, but finds multiples, it adds them" rule?
(And whereas if it checks for equality against a single number, it checks each one it receives)
Would someone be able to point me to this section of the rules? I'm think e.g. of when a card's CMC is asked for or checked, but it turns out to be a split card.
Hey, um, I'm looking through the Dominaria spoiler page, and a lot of the cards with lengthy names extend over mana cost area, making the generic mana cost symbol unreadable. It's been a while since I looked up spoilers here so I don't know how new this formatting issue is. Is there any easy workaround? Having to dig through the page source code seems sort of bad design...
