I'm going to my first Prerelease on the weekend, and I was just wondering, how long do they take? Is it a casual event where you can just come and go? Is there some sort of tournament?
you can a) just get your packs, drop from the event, and leave, or b) play in the event which will take approx 5 hours. Everyone gets additional packs based on the number of wins they finish with
Thanks for the reply Deception. One last question for anyone out there:
Can you get your pre-ordered booster boxes and the prerelease?
Preorders dont become available until the first day of retail availability
Thanks for all your answers to my questions The Decepticon.

I would pick Boros if I would choose the best, but I need some cards from the Selesnya pack (Knight of Autumn and Assure // Assemble) so I'm picking Selesnya.
Abzan, Naya, and Bant Midrange are all possibilities, it just take some time to figure them out.
I think Bant will be very weak until the next set as it only has 1 shockland out of 3 where some of the other ones (Naya, Abzan, Sultai) have 2. I'm really trying to push either GW Angels, Abzan Knights, or White Not-So-Weenie
I've been trying to make a Standard Knight deck for a while now. Before GRN, I had Angels as my finishers, but I think I'm going to cut them out for G and Steel Leaf Champion. I was having a look at all the cards that either had the card type Knight or referenced Knights in some way in the Abzan colors, and two cards stood out for me; Midnight Reaper and Conclave Cavlier. I think they could go in a competitive Knights deck, as they give each other a lot of value(3 cards, 3 bodies for 3 life, one card and GGWW). What are your thoughts?
The reason why I run four Lyras is to maximize the efficiency of them. For example, I might have a Lyra in my hand and one on the battlefield, attack with it and then get rheum tapped Lyra out by casting the one in my hand. I'll definitely think about the sideboard changes, but 4x Lyra is the main part of my deck. I'm not a big fan of taking out Agressive Mammoth, but I'll think about taking out Kinjalli's Sunwing.
Thanks

EDIT: Why Sorcerous Spyglass in the sideboard? It just doesn't make sense to me.
I think that the reason why I run so many Forests is because I have to get my 1 and 2 drops out on turns one and two. I might be able to swap one, but I don't think I'll be able to swap two. Also, what should I put in for all of the cards you suggested?
I have recently made a GW Midrange deck and I'm interested to hear your thoughts about it. The only non rotation proof card is Blossoming Defence and when rotation comes, I'll swap it out with Assure // Assemble. Is there anything I might improve? Is there any cards that you think are lackluster? I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
This might seem like a completely stupid question to some people, but how do I link decks? What do I use to go in the middle of the syntax blocks (if that's what you call them)?
Thanks for all your answers to my questions The Decepticon.
