    Echanted noncreature artifact is a creature with base power and toughness 3/3 in addition to its other types.


    Basically, it's just an Ensoul Artifact that cost less, but doesn't let you throw it on something like vault skirge for a 5/5 flier with lifelink.

    As is, I am like 90% sure the aura would fall off immediately, since it needs to be enchanting a non-creature, but the moment it is enchanted it becomes a creature.



    Animate Artifact is probably the correct way to word it, but it feels so clunky to have it say
    Enchant artifact
    As long as enchanted artifact isn't a creature, it's an artifact creature with base power and toughness 3/3

    Well that's disappoint, I was under the assumption it was still $15. I think I am just going to drop using Gaea's Cradle. Fairy booty mana isn't worth a risking losing a card worth several hundred dollars.

    After seeing the current price of Gaea's Cradle on TCGplayer, I am no longer comfortable lugging my near mint copy around with me in my Selvala EDH deck.

    I'd much rather pick up a Gold Bordered one for a couple bucks, and leave my real one at home in my expensive rare binder that has my old cards like Candelabra and Field of Dreams that have become stupidly expensive due to the secondary market.

    This not for Tournament play, so I am not worried about the rules. I am asking this because I've heard the Gold Border cards have slightly different edges.

    So if I swap my real Gaea's Cradle for this proxy, would I be able to feel the difference?

    Elder scrolls legends has a lot of fun online only cards.

    For example
    Skeever Infestation 2R
    Sorcery
    Create 2 Skeever creature tokens with power and toughness equal to the number of times you've played Skeever Infestation. Then shuffle two copies of Skeever Infestation into your deck.

    So It'd make two 1/1's, then two 2/2s, then two 3/3s etc. Each time shuffling more and more copies of the spell into your deck.

    Here's the rest of the planechase thingy I made.

    New Cards

    Priest of the Birthing Sun 2G
    Creature- Human Cleric
    Dinosaur Spells you cast cost 1 less to cast.
    If an Enrage ability would trigger on a Dinosaur you control, it triggers twice instead.

    thought and theory:
    There is a Human who decrease dinosaurs cost by 1 for 1cmc (White)
    There's a Human wo decreases dinosaurs cost by 1 for 2cmc (Red)
    Now this guy finishes the cycle by decreasing the cost by 1 for 3 cmc (Green)

    Gave him a big booty so he could survive a few 1 damage to all creature spells





    Belligerent Regisaur 2G
    Creature - Dinosaur
    Trample
    Enrage - Whenever "" is dealt damage, return another target green creature you control to it's owners hand.
    Best get out of its way

    I felt like negative enrage abilities were really an unexplored design space in Ixalan. My head cannon is that one of your green creatures sees how scary/mad that dino gets when it gets poked, that it runs away back to your hand.
    Forced Bouncing is a fairly common green way of self punishment.

    Creature - Merfolk Shamann
    When "" enters the battlefield, draw a card for each Merfolk you control.
    Whenever you cast a Merfolk spell, you may draw a card.

    Made it a high cmc spell so you can't cheat it out with stuff like aether vial. Plus you only get to draw from merfolk spells casts later on.

    Creature - Merfolk Wizard
    Flash
    When Master of the Tides enters the battlefield, if you cast it from your hand, return all attacking creatures to their owner's hand.

    Aetherize on a 2/2 body, has to be cast so it can't be cheated out or flickered.





    Paid Overtime 2R
    Enchantment
    Whenever one or more pirate you control deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice three Treasure tokens.
    If you do, untap all creatures you control. After this main phase, there is an additional combat phase, followed by an additional main phase.

    Idea behind this is that you can bribe your pirates with extra Treasure to attack again. Name is not serious.

    Raid - When Grim Buccaneer enters the battlefield, if you attacked with a creature this turn, destroy all other creatures.

    Grim Captain's Summoning 4UB
    Sorcery
    Create four 1/1 black Spirit Pirate creature tokens.
    Raid- If you attacked with a creature this turn, instead destroy all creatures, then create four 1/1 black Spirit Pirate creature tokens.

    Two variants of the same card, I could decide which on I liked best. Both requires you to sacrifice atleast something to the boardwipe, because you need to trigger raid.






    Dusk Legion's Scorn 3WB
    Sorcery
    Exile target nonland permanent. You gain life equal to that permanents converted mana cost.

    I'll admit, I got kind of lazy near the end with Vampires because I was bored.





    Bloodpact Oath 1BB
    Enchantment - Aura Curse
    Enchant Player
    At the beginning of enchanted player's end step, if that player did not gain life that turn, he or she loses 5 life.
    Vampire spells enchanted player cast cost 2 less to cast.

    It requires some balancing, but basically I was trying to make a curse that you want to put on yourself. The 'lore' of it is that the curse attracts vampires (makes em easier to cast), and unless you let them feed (gain life), they'll drink your blood instead.

    Fatal push because the pirate deck would revolve around treasure tokens, so revolt would be easy to trigger. Also, fatal push, like a push off the plank.

    Paladin Adrian Adanto feels like an auto include in Edgar Markov, and that's already a fast 1v1 deck. From a pure WB point of view, I do like how he encourages tribal go-wide strats, unlike Vona's semi-voltron/near-complete disregard for her own tribe.

    I don't play enough fish to know how good Shaper Tuvasa is, but I feel like she could enable some shenanigans.

    Captain Brandis Thorn feels powerful, but to be fair I've only seen two people build Pirate EDH and we both use Arcane Adaptation and similar cards to make sneaky creatures into pirates. Brandis allows Lannery Storm to be used along with other Treasure cards, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

    Yeah, I did make the Merfolk legend the weakest out of the bunch, since they already have so much stuff to play with.

    Dinosaurs doesn't really feel like a tribe, since it's just a bunch of random creatures to do stuff that don't interact with each other (aside from the occasional enrage mechanic enabler).

    Pirates too need something strong to tie them together.

    From the same planechase thingy I submitted a couple days ago. Basically, the set would come with the planechase cards, and 4 different deck. Each deck would focus on a tribe and have 1 new legend (not legal in Standard or Modern), and 2 new rares (along with 5 other rares reprinted from various sets). It's basically "What If Explorers of Ixalan was a Planechase set".

    I didn't make each lord balanced. For Merfolks and Vampires, I made weaker legends because they are already established cards. Especially for Merfolk, since fish are tier 1 (I'd argue).



    Captain Brandis Thorn3UBR
    Legendary Creature - Human Pirate
    Menace
    Other Pirates you control get +1/+1 for each Treasure you control and have menace.
    At the beginning of your end step, create a colorless Treasure token for each opponent dealt combat damage by a Pirate.

    Shorts hand Treasure, for "a colorless Treasure artifact tokens with "Tap, Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool."

    Thought and Theory:
    What upset me about Pirates in Ixalan is they only created Treasure, there were no pirate creatures that cared about the Treasure after they made it (aside from that one uncommon). He is not parasitic, because although he interacts with Treasure, if you don't have any Treasure, he'll create some at the end of your turn. Furthermore, I felt like the pirates need a better lord than Admiral Beckett Brass. I chose him over the Grime Captain, because I felt like the Grime Captain was more of a euphemism for Death.

    Legendary Creature - Human Soldier
    When "" ETB, you may search your library for a Dinosaur card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
    Dinosaur spells you cast cost 3 less to cast.

    Thought and Theory:

    Not much to say about this card, I wanted a tutor for Dinosaurs to make the more consistent in EDH. Gishath is fun, but whiffing with all 7 damage is devastating. The Emperor can grab any dino, then let you drop out a big old 7 drop on turn 4 (while still being fair, since he can be easily removed).

    Legendary Creature - Merfolk Shaman
    Flash
    You may cast Merfolk spells as though they had Flash.
    GU: Return Tuvasa and target nonland permanet to their owners hands.
    Her voice is the whisper of the clinging mist.

    Thought and Theory:
    Only Merfolk legend mentioned that wasn't printed... didn't have much to go by.
    Again, there was the power level constraint (we don't want another TNN). She (or he???) gives Merfolk Flash, so it doesn't interact well with Aether Vial. The Self bounce is a remnant from her old ability which was too OP imo.

    Thought and Theory:
    Made sense to use him, since he appears on a card, and has several references in flavor texts. I tried to make him distinct from the other W/B vampire legends, while still interacting well with them.

    I'll consider that, but I forgot to clarify that Gates of Orazca and Orazca, the Golden City are the last two cards in the planeswalker deck. So the game ending effect is more to wrap up abnormally long planechase games before the planecards loop over.

    Basically the product would be 4 decks, and the planechase cards, and be balance to play each other (Like the Nico Bolas Arch Enemy deck). You'd put aside the Gate and Orzca, then shuffle up the Planar deck, and put those two cards on the bottom.

    In my opinion, Explorers of Ixalan should have been a planechase set, with 4 new legends, instead of that awful boardgame type game we got. Here's the Planechase cards I've made so far. I am not bold enough to make a new planechase type, but I was trying to go for ongoing effects of phenomenons
