So that's why certain tokens enter “tapped and attacking” sometimes and yet don't count towards attack triggers as they were never declared attackers by the player themselves? Am I correct in assuming that the wording for it to work would be something like saying that the creature entering during the declare blockers step was specifically entering “blocking” or “tapped and blocking”? And that it wouldn't trigger any “when this creature blocks..” triggers yet?
What happens if an effect - such as Defense of the Heart's triggered ability successfully resolving - were to make it so that a Kodama of the East Tree enters the battlefield at the same time as another permanent? Is it possible to make it so that the Kodama of the East Tree's triggered ability triggers from the other creature entering the battlefield resulting in a third permanent (of lesser cmc than the other creature's) entering the battlefield with them? If no then why not?
Let's say I have a Child of Alara enchanted with a Journey to Eterniy and I sacrifice it by activating a Witch's Oven. Am I able to make it so that I end up with an Atzal, Cave of Eternity, a resurrected Child of Alara and two food tokens after everything resolves? If not, please explain why and what the actual best outcome should be.
My friends came across the following scenario the other day:
Enter combat. Wasitora, Nekoru Queen attacks. Obelisk Spider blocks (it is the defending player's only creature). Combat damage happens. The attacking player wants Wasitora, Nekoru Queen to kill the Obelisk Spider and deal 1 trampling damage to the defending player; conversely, the defending player wants to put a -1-1 counter Wasitora, Nekoru Queen thus preventing the 1 trampling damage from being dealt (although still losing their creature to the lethal damage being dealt to it). So what happens "first"? Who ends up getting what they want? Please quote some rules if you can. Thanks for everything. You're the best.
Is it possible to use Rift Sweeper on my commander while it is in the command zone? If so, can I instead choose for it to remain in the command zone? Will my commander cost an additional two to cast from commander tax if I choose to leave it in the command zone?
Alternatively, some Eldrazi cards such as Void Attendant allow for a similar situation albeit with opponents involved. Does the situation differ when opponents are involved? If so, why?
My friend who plays mono green attacks me with a Moldgraf Monstrosity and I block and kill it. There's only one creature in my friend's graveyard, what happens? Why?
Semi-related; what happens when a permanent with a "at the begining of your upkeep..." trigger enters the battlefield at the begining of your upkeep? Do you get the trigger?
If not, is it related to the reason why creatures entering the battlefield during your upkeep don't have haste?
Can I block with a creature which I just put on the battlefield with Flash (choosing not to pay it's mana cost minus 2C) during the declare blockers step before sacrificing it?
Similarly, can I block with a creature that has an Evoke cost which I am somehow able to cast during the declare blockers step?
Of course!
I thought I might gain 10 life because I thought that they entered the battlefield one at a time.
As in: Embalm the Anointer Priest, get 4 tokens instead of one (thanks to the two Anointed Processions) and then because in my head I thought that they entered play one at a time I thought that the first token entering the battlefield would give me 1 life, the second 2 (because there's already one in play), the third 3 (because there are two in play by the time he enters) and the fourth 4 totalling 10 life.
I'm looking forward to a quote from the comprehensive rules proving me dead wrong. Thank you for everything guys!
Let's say I cast an Unexpected Results and reveal a "copying instant spell" such as Fork. Could I target and copy Unexpected Results with it? or is Unexpected Results already in the graveyard by then?
Similarly, could I copy a spell such as Bituminous Blast if it just cascaded into one such copying spell?
Please explain in detail.
Cheers

Let's suppose I have an Anointer Priest in my graveyard and two Anointed Processions in play. I now embalm my Anointer Priest. How much life do I gain? Is it 10?
Let's suppose I have an Amulet of Vigor in play and I drop either a Rupture Spire, a Transguild Promenade or the more recent Gateway Plaza.
Is the land able to pay for itself?
Thank you!
