While I agree that Feather's hype was definitely destined to go down, I don't think she'll fade away into obscurity; she's practically the only viable Boros Commander, changes the way Boros plays, and IS a "value engine" (albeit a build-around one.) What I love most about Feather, is the amount of things one can do at instant speed, during combat, abusing end-step, etc.; reminds me of Yuriko in a way, lots of fun interactions to not get bored.
Something was brought to my attention that's actually making me tempted to run Akroan Conscriptor.. Cloudshift can permanently steal threatened creatures because it puts them under YOUR control! Probably not enough to make me want to run the Conscriptor, but just thinking about how disgusting it could be..
I noticed you never mentioned Gamble in your updated primer post, any particular reason? Do you think it's unnecessary now that Sunforger is in the deck? (I still haven't bitten the bullet and added it into mine.. And I HAVE had games where I Gamble for Paradox, lose Paradox.. lol. But that's the name of the game! ;P)
I must admit, that Mangara tech is SUPER spicy! I'll be sad to lose Meteor Golem though, as it's basically been my MVP in almost every Feather game I've won.. Nothing like having a Cloudshift and a Meteor Golem to make the table feel helpless. <3 But 7 Mana IS a lot, and potentially win-more/useless early-game, whereas Mangara can come out early (not to mention get disgusting w/ Paradox, yikes I didn't realize he could be used like that! :O)
I'm still not convinced about Chrome Mox, though; Feather needs all the early-game options it can get to solidify her game-plan, and while you might sometimes have redundancy in hand (it's still always nice to have options.)
I wish I could fit Thought Vessel in somehow as well.. Discarding to Hand-size (in a Boros deck of all places!) isn't fun.. (Though it can potentially be circumvented by abusing EOT casting w/ Feather.)
PS. Isn't Aria just a less tutorable and more expensive Guttersnipe redundancy (and you weren't even running any of those, like Firebrand.) Seems you've come to the realization that the deck needs more win-cons?
PSS. I'm tempted to cut Psychotic Fury for Reckless Rage, as it's the weakest and most expensive Cantrip and it can only target Feather (besides, if we really need Double Strike, Boros Charm is still in the Deck.)
PSSS. What do you think about Mox Tantalite? Assuming you "drop" it T1 (for free mind you,) it'll be online around the time you'd normally be deploying Feather anyway, maybe a turn later. But I guess a 2-Drop Rock is probably better, as it lets you T3 Feather w/ Protection.
I'm honestly not that big a fan of the Drum, since in my experience I'd rather have Feather untapped as much as possible to serve as an aerial chumpblocker that I can protect/flicker to not die.. (at least it was extremely relevant in my games last night, lol.) And having to pitch a card to Mox early-game, really puts the wind out of your sails, since you need everything at your disposal to get going.. you can't really afford to lose cards UNTIL you've started.
I had a game where someone blew up my Sword of the Animist.. lol. And I even contemplated using Apostle's on it, but I didn't.
With Wear // Tear gone, is there even any good/situational Instants to tutor for with Sunforger? It basically becomes a 5+ Mana protection tutor.. Maybe if Teferi's Protection was in the deck, I'd like it more.
I just realized that Burning Prophet is from WAR, no wonder I don't have one.. lol. Is it really that useful? So hard trying to squeeze stuff in.. I may just have to drop Firebrand Archer like you did.. 'xD
I wonder if I should cut Chandra's Ignition too.. Without pumps it's basically 3 dmg to board/opponents (which IS inevitability, as like a Plan E.. lol.) But if we had any other creatures in play that we wanted to keep alive with a protection spell, that becomes 6+ mana to Slagstorm. Though I did think Chain Reaction was cute, what with protection from Red, sad to see you dropped it (you really are a daredevil! :P)
Occasionally I'd find myself wishing for a particular instant. No card advantage, no perfect response to removal attempts, no kill potential. It wasn't super common, but that is a gap that Sunforger could potentially help fill - not something you'd feel obliged to ram every turn, but rather an emergency superman that delivers whatever you're in dire need of. This means I could probably ease off the Magnetic Theft
Someone brought to my attention that other than Sunforger, the only other way to tutor for a specific Instant in Boros.. is Gamble; and I'm definitely tempted to include it now, because I want to live the disgusting Path+Token Gen ramp dream as much as possible (because imo it's the most broken thing the deck can do! :P)
PS. Someone else mentioned Veilstone Amulet, and while it is cute, I think it's ultimately not good enough (too much mana, doesn't do anything right away without holding up even more mana, and it only protects against single-target removal which we already do in spades..)
Ahh, the most inexplicable Feather-related spike. Note it says attacking, so I can't juggle it in other people's turns.
Oh wow, I totally missed that.. (I guess the only way to use that on someone else's turn might be to steal an attacking creature with Akroan Conscriptor and then use Rage on them? o_0 Even if that does work, that's just absurd.. lol.) Guess I won't be running that after all.
Yeah, the main reason I like Karoo Lands is because of the pseudo-card advantage they give you when you're mana-screwed (and getting tons of Mana if you have extra Land drops.) But I rarely use them outside of very specific decks (like Mono-W or Muldrotha.)
As for Reckless Rage, what targets are you expecting that 4 damage wouldn't be enough? (Almost every Tier 1-2 Commander, as well as a bunch of utility creatures/dorks, even LabMan, die to 4 damage.)
Do you think Braid of Fire is too cute? I guess most of the cantrips are White, but it does let us get free value from Red instants in our upkeep.
Any reason you're not running Balduvian Rage? Seems like a versatile way to "Voltron" someone out.. And unless I'm mistaken, it IS a 1-Mana Cantrip, no?
Is summoning sickness enough reason to avoid having every pinger, when you're basically on the pinger plan?
Thoughts on using Past in Flames to get back cards that unfortunately had to be thrown away? Or do we have enough redundancy that you don't see it being necessary for it's cost?
I don't think that there are enough Lands in the Deck to get rid of 1 to Mox Diamond.. You'd just end up missing a Land drop as a result. But I'm not a fan of Mana Vault, either, so I'll probably cut it. (Sadly I had to cut LED, too; it felt too all in.)

Some less obvious ones also represented: Body Double (the masks,) Tropical Island (behind DEN,) Thousand-Year Elixir (in her hand; this one's actually rather obvious, I'm surprised you didn't see it :P) and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds (the wolf mask is a small nod to Selvala's wolf.)
As for hiding of gameplans, aside from Piper/Selvala, most people already know how Vannifar wins.
bragshowcase these here, since this is where my Vannifar journey began.Since I'm REALLY indecisive... I commissioned TWO alters for Vannifar:
Here's a video showcasing the foiling on the 2nd one.

And with all of the token generators and ways to tutor them up, do you really think you don't have enough synergy for cards like Indomitable Creativity and Divergent Transformations?
PS. Am I dumb for wanting to include Boros Garrison?
PSS. Runaway Steam-Kin seems like it could be good.. As does Primal Amulet.
PSSS. Am I right in thinking that Smothering Tithe is better than Spawning Breath, and that we probably don't need either?
