Deck History
We definitely recognize that your decklist has evolved over the months/years. This gives readers a road-map to your creation process and the roots of the deck and why it is today what it is.
Current Decklist
Use the Deck Tags and Deck Builder Tool to create your decklist!
I also like to sort my decklists according to function and then separately according to card type, but that’s totally up to you.
Alternate Decklists
This is the part where you can put up Tribal decklists, Budget decklists, different power level decklists, whatever.
Remember to use the Deck tags!
Do note that this section is optional and is not required for a Primer to be approved!
Card Choice Discussion
This is a section where you talk about individual card choices that are located in your decklist. I also recommend you include other popular cards that other users may have used and include a brief description as to why/why not you’re running X card.
Deck Philosophy
Talk about what your deck is trying to do on a broader scale and your own personal philosophy to Commander and your Primer.
Do note that this section is optional and is not required for a Primer to be approved!
Deck Strategy
This is where you should talk about the nuts and bolts of how your decklist plays out.
Do you have a specific backup plan in case your primary strategy gets foiled?
This is where you would want to talk about these kinds of things.
The below sections WILL be looked for when you submit your Primer for the review process, so don't forget to include these sections in your Primer!
Early Game StrategyWhat do your early turns look like? This will give readers an idea of the general playlines you engage in and give them a familiarity with what kinds of things they should be doing with your deck.
Mid-Game StrategyNow that you've established the necessary early game steps that make your deck successful, what does your Mid-Game look like? Do you focus on generating Card Advantage or Board Advantage? Removing threats or playing your own?
Late-GameSo you've survived the Mid-Game, and you're now in the stages where you want to be proactively winning the game. How does your deck do this? Are there specific combos in place that you need to execute in order to take out the table? Do you want to protect a large threat and ride that to victory? Give a brief description of how your deck actually plays out and wins the game.
Opposing Commander Match-Ups
I personally enjoy reading about how Primers, and their respective strategies, match up against some of the more popular Commanders you play against IN YOUR PLAYGROUP or for Commander generally.
Do note that this section IS required for 1v1 Commander Primers and is NOT required for a Multi-Player Commander Primers!
Credit & Thanks
I’m 100% confident that you didn’t build your Commander deck in a vacuum. This section is to give credit where it’s due and help you build a solid reputation.

I wanted to bring him back because I loved the deck so much. I'm hoping people are less scared of him now, and also that my improved deckbuilding can mitigate some heavy targeting. It seems like some people have continued with the midrange gameplan, and some people like Lerker have gone even faster, leaning into an early Ad Nauseam.
I wanted to go the opposite direction. My list is much closer to Lerker and imoc's Meta Pod deck, which is great because it shuts down fast combo in cEDH metas and aims to win through combat first, while still having the option to combo when the stars align.

This guy is the connoisseur of Ghave, and his list is great.
I have one similiar, and you could definitely run a stax type build with adnaus/Earthcraft. In Ghave, you need to utilize stax pieces anyways because Ghave is a slower midrange combo deck. So, stax is ideal. I wouldn't go full out stax, but having specific cards are great. -

Welcome to the cEDH forums! In an effort to help build the knowledge pool for Ghave, do you mind sharing a list for Ghave that utilizes Ad Naus? I agree that keeping it low to the ground and focusing in on 1-2 combo lines is ideal, but it would be great to have someone more qualified than myself offer suggestions on how to improve Ghave. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed The deck i have built now doesn't have him in it. I do know a few strategies and will read up on him more to better understand. Especially since i never thought, hey whats cheap ways to assemble him other than sacrificing tokens. Ill look into the reanimation strategy, and the listed cards. Also the same with instant speed removal.
You and Cryogen made me realize the sad truth that i just need to start budgeting to get some of the better cards if cEDH is going to be a thing.
Ill read up on stax to better understand it. Smokestack has been a card i have wanted to use.
Have most of the 1 and 2 cmc mana dorks, so ill start there. See why they are important. Guess I didn't think it had the same rule as other formats. In modern I have a Hydra deck and 12 mana ramps, guess is makes sense to include mana ramps in edh ha. Oblivious much Thank you
Ashnod's altar,utopia mycon I like these. I should already have had Utopia mycon in the deck. That adds a third infinite mana combo. I see you didn't list Phyrexian altar is 3cmc the reasoning? I am familiar with how the combos work with the infinite +1/+1 counters, mana, and tokens. Still learning more but those particular ones yes. I am guessing these are what you would assemble with all the cheap tutors?
The Deathrite shaman is that mainly for getting rid of everything? I know it has the ability to but is that where you were headed or is it more creature hate? I ask because of night soil, necrogenesis is an infinite combo ( well until there is no creatures).
Thank you for the deck idea, and all the helpful tips. I will start budgeting and getting some of these cards you and cryogen have listed. If there is anything here i said that doesn't make sense or if yall dont think that i understand what yall are saying then please just mention it.
