A1: When Player A is in the first main phase, they have to declare an attack phase and pass priority. If player B passes priority, then the combat phase begins. Player A would have to pass priority again, then player B (this would be the last chance to tap before a creature becomes an attacker). If both players pass, then attacking creatures are declared and tapping them will do nothing to change that.
A2: Once an ability is on the stack, it can not be removed, barring effects like Stifle or by removing the controller of the effect from the game (i.e. Lightning Bolt to kill him in response would stop the effect from resolving... assuming you're in a multiplayer game, this could be relevant... but in 1v1, that means game over anyway... I guess unless they have some way to save themselves like Worship).
I changed Flame Slash to Lightning Bolt because mono green Rancor is usually a big deck and being able to stop Rancor is a huge bonus. Besides, with LD, they shouldn't be getting toughness 4 creatures out, right?
Maybe Vines of the Vastwood would be a good way to protect the infector (same cost as Autumn's Veil BTW). Plus if you have GG, that's probably GG! Land Grant is a cheaper option than fetch lands and can not be Stifled.
Granted, but as you open the box and smell it's amazing aroma, you have a stroke. You are paralyzed to eat it, but can smell the awesome pizza. Then you die from the torture.
I agree, cats are cool... which is why I'm glad Nosferatu formed the AAHFLCKA... or Activists Against Hate For Little Cute Kitties Association... it's going strong with over 15 million activists who will scratch and claw anyone that mistreats cute little kitties.
@Be
not sure if U/W/r would have worked out... tough mana requirements with white and all. But I'd love to see a list. I remember seeing 1 Manalith the entire draft and had to take a creature over it. U/R had 23 cards (minus Levitation and 2 Jace's Erasure). That's probably the way I should have went.
@Ph
I did feel weird about having Alabaster on the side, but I would never take out the Arsonist in this format... so many Mages to kill (along with a bunch of common 2/1s and the 3/1 flyer, so few Arsonists). At worst it trades with a 2/2. At best it triggers some sick bloodthirst even if they have a blocker (I know I only had 1 thirsty guy, but in general, Arsonists will always be worth the slot and the R you spend on them).
@ur
Understand the Child of Nights were very late picks... and probably shouldn't have been in the pack still. I did D up a Jade Mage because there was nothing in the pack for me.
@Ka
Just to clarify, I first picked Chandra's Outrage, then second picked Mind Control (got both cards). I just don't see the 3 color working with all the double mana requirements (even if R was just a splash, I have no fixing and only 1 draw spell). I could have run just 2 mountain for the 2 burn spells, but well, I guess I just put too much focus on turn 2 horse.
Thanks for your comments! I generally don't post easy to build decks that crush... because what's the point? "OOHHHHH! AHHHH!" "You're so good" "That deck is nutz" is not the responses I'm looking for. I realize I made decisions that left me with a tough pool. So now I'd like to see what's best to do with said pool.
So I did a 6 person draft with trip M12, started pretty good with a crap pack except for a Mind Control for meeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Second pick Chandra's Outrage
Third pick Assault Griffin-this pack was pretty subpar... no U or R cards, I just took the best card. That's okay for first 3 picks, right?
The rest of the pack there were NO blue cards coming. I happened to take a 13th pick Merfolk Mesmerist and that was it in blue. I noticed that white was being underdrafted (unless I'm giving took much credit to Armored Warhorse) and ended up with 3 Armored Warhorses.
Second pack: Fireball! Incinerate next (found out the guy to my left took Flameblast Dragon), then Stormfront Pegasus. In this pack I made one very POOR decision: Goblin Bangchuckers vs. Gideon's Lawkeeper. I knew Lawkeeper was better, but I though I'd give the chucker a chance, also seeing as Divine Favor is in the set and should be easy to get late (I know, I was going to run a near unplayable card... stupid idea). But in the end, I did get 2 Spirit Mantle so it wasn't a complete loss (not that I ever casted SM on the chucks).
Third pack: I took Chandra's Outrage out of my pack, then I was passed Mind Control! Rare was missing, so this seems legit. Unforutunately the only blue cards I picked up in the previous pack were a Frost Breath and Jace's Erasure. Next pick: Serra Angel! Wow, just wow. How would you build this:
I wasn't sure about Guardian's Pledge with only 8 white creatures so I played War Paint instead. A friend of mine said I should have been UR. What do you think?
I wish drugs were free...
WW title for a Steven Seagal movie not made yet

Can you only play commons? I thought there was an allotement for uncommon cards? Pillage would be awesome.
Other strong common cards:
Choices:
Demolish
Fissure
Fissure Vent
Victorious Destruction
Volcanic Submersion
Card advantage:
Icefall (interesting combo with Moggie!)
Cheap option:
Uncontrolled Infestation (cheaper, but maybe not good enough)
Maybe consider:
25 Mountain
Creatures
4 Iron Myr
4 Plated Geopede
2 Stingmoggie
Spells
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Raze
4 Stone Rain
4 Molten Rain
4 Aftershock
4 Fissure

Good idea: believe in yourself
Why does the world spin around?

The bad news is that it's the end of the world as we know it...
