I like it. But come on, I need more Dinosaurs that are good in a terrible Dinosaur Commander deck. I don't think 1 damage to each creature really cuts it in EDH.
Psst, there's a mechanic on the dinos called "enrage"...I'm sure a RGW+ deck that already runs Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite will like it too.
Mostly this is for limited, but I'm sure I can think of a few Johnny things for EDH. I object to "gladiodon" on linguistic grounds, though.
Yeah, I know about Enrage, but is that mechanic on a few dinos really worth dedicating a deck slot to this card in an EDH deck? That's the question. If the dino general did something involving Enrage, that would make it a little more appealing. Then you could run with the theme, but we've basically seen all the rares/mythics and I'm not expecting many dinosaurs at common and uncommon that aren't unplayable limited fodder.
Dude....... we just started spoiler season.
We don't even know how many are getting enrage yet.
Besides the deck definately doesn't have to be focused on enrage it may be ETB and Ramp and aggro by what I'm looking at.
And as for this role in edh you heard of weenie or token decks you could come up against right?
And maro did confirmed you could draft a dinosaur deck
We've seen all the rares and mythics (except for the RW Planeswalker, I believe). 99% of a set's commons and uncommons are usually limited fodder. There will probably be a couple of cool ones still unspoiled, but usually the exciting stuff is at rare/mythic, so I'm not expecting much for Commander. Commander is all I really care about so that's what I'm basing my opinion on. I don't care about whether Enrage is draftable or good in draft, because I don't draft. And pinging the board for 1 doesn't do much in Commander, even against token decks, because they usually play a lot of anthem effects.

I love Unclaimed Territory. Feels like this card should have been in all 4 of the C17 decks but found it's way to Ixalan instead.I'd much prefer a reprint of Cavern of Souls (AT RARE WIZARDS), but having a budget version and a getting to run both this and Cavern in my EDH decks is neat.
I think in terms of reprints and such, the Vampire deck is my favorite. Over all, the cat deck is my least favorite of the bunch. At first glance, it seems like they went much lighter on the myhic rare reprints than the previous couple of years. Kind of upset we didn't see Command Beacon or any decent lands (outside of Command Tower, Myriad ((which should have been in every deck)) and the new Command Tower). Temples or something, at least.
I want to get the dragon deck for the novelty, even though I don't think I'll build Ur-Dragon (too invested in Karrthus already). Might want the Wiard or Vampire deck too, I'll have to look over them again and see what all is in each. May be cheaper to just buy the singles I want.
Well, I'm definitely getting the Dragon deck now. Already have Karrthus built, but I think Scourge could definitely find a home in that deck. Especially since I'm already playing cards like Greater Good that let me discard.
Love Scalelord. Starting to regret investing so much into Karrthus EDH. I could easily convert it over to Ur-Dragon if I didn't have the deck like 80% foiled.
Really like this one! If I ever get around to building another tribal EDH deck, this one will definitely find a spot in it. Question is should I replace Urza's Incubator or Dragonspeaker Shaman with this card in my Karrthus dragon tribal? Hm...
Yaaay. I gave my only copy to a friend forever ago. Always wanted a playset but never picked them up. Maybe I'll be able to get a set for a couple of bucks.

Guess this rules change is good for my Superfriends EDH deck. I can feel less bad about having 3 different Jace in the deck now.

Now that we have all of the new cards spoiled, when will we get the full deck lists? I'm eager to see what cards are getting reprinted.
