I really can't see this being a common again, but if it is, I'm going to pick up two more FNM Terminates. If this thing really is in Reborn, B/R is going to be a beast with this, Blightning and the new Cranial Extraction.
Looking at the old post about the playmats... it looks like the name on this card SHOULD be "Fieldmist" for it to be correct. Sorry for posting here without more concrete evidence, but i thought this was the place to come to have someone figure out if it was real or not.
It was an interesting find. It's just like that video a while back that featured the Ardent Plea card. I suppose it's not impossible that this is fake, but that's definitely a mock-up in the video. Could be based on the real effect, but that's definitely not a picture of the real card. I hope it's wrong though. If that's what the card really does, it's boring. =/
I copy/pasted everything directly from his most recent blog entry as well as his first comment to that entry where he tried to translate a bit. And I linked to the entry in the first post.
Yikes! I read over that twice and thought you were just linking to the guy who translated it. I didn't realize that was the guy who posted it too.
I hoped an online translator could make more sense of the initial text about it being a lie and everything, but that didn't help. (I should have known it wouldn't be that easy. :P)
Does anyone have a link to where this was posted or a full quote or anything? Was anything else said or was that the full post on the matter? I guess it's possible that instead of saying "don't believe me" as a statement, he meant it as more of a challenging question, such as "Don't believe me?! You'll see April 1st!" or something like that. I guess it's impossible to say for sure without actually talking to the guy or reading more about what he has to say on the subject. A few of these do seem very plausible, and a few others just seem...bizarre or broken *cough*AlaraReincarnation*cough*. Right now, I could see any of the following possibilities as being true:
-A few of these are real, the rest are just speculation and/or jokes
-They're all fake
-They're all real (I really hope Alara Reincarnation isn't...)
It would be broken cause it will single handedly make 5cc the most unstoppable deck against non-counter non-wrath effect decks in standard..
Don't forget the new Spellbreaker Behemoth or whatever it is. So with that guy out, you couldn't even counter this card. Your only chance would be Wrath of God/Marshal Coup.
I'm going to have to go with everyone else and say that if WOTC decided that Progenitus and Conflux had to have such high costs, this card either must be fake or it's somehow horribly mistranslated. I won't believe this one until I see it.
Hm, I like it. This makes me want to break out my playset of Rumbling Slums and make some kind of casual 5 power deck. *Goes to look up all of the 5 power card support for standard*
Edit: Also, how the heck did someone get a hold of this card already?
Hm, hard to say. Probably the day when the local card shop got a box of Russian Dissension packs. I bought three. Out of the second pack came a FOIL Breeding Pool, which completed my playset of Breeding Pools for my deck. After opening those packs, I decided to press my luck with one more pack. To my amazement, I pull a Hallowed Fountain. Two Russian Dual lands out of 4 packs, with one being foil (It's beautiful XD). I gotta say, I was very pleased. This was also when the dual lands were still legal for Standard, mind you (The other two packs containedTidespout Tyrant and Ratcatcher. Can't win them all. :P). Honorable mention goes to the Patagia viper and Coiling Oracle which I also got in those packs.
Cryptic Command, followed by Profane Command. Cryptic Command is such a great utility spell, and has the option of replacing itself. It can draw, counter, buy you a turn and remove a threat, all in one card.
My current favorite is Knight of the White Orchid He's my favorite knight so far, and I use a playset in two different decks.
I also have that deck, with Ion storm as an alt (and very effective) win condition. Energy Chamber was another one of those cards that I always loved. Fun with Etched Oracle.
Because really, it says "No" to just about anything and everything.
^This. I've always loved Time Stop. It's one of those cards that is fun to play and always seemed (to me) like it -could- fit in a T2 deck, but never made it into one (as far as I know).
Another card I've always loved is Last Stand. What card better defines multicolor and the five colors of magic? I got this card loooong ago, when I was still a magic newb, and it was always one of those fun "wow" spells that makes all of the spectators and your opponent say "ooo crap!" , kind of like Cruel Ultimatum. X3 I also love the artwork on Last Stand.
But assuming this is true: Whoo! new dragon! Hope it has great art.

The second fake card was:
エーテル宣誓会の処刑人 (1)(W)(B)
Artifact Creature - Human Knight (U)
First Strike
Protection from blue
2/2
Since it was the only card aside from the broken avatar that didn't appear in the scan.
Oh wow, there we go! Great find! Also, very glad to not see that crazy Avatar in there.
