If this is real perhaps this is an indication that Junk will revolve around +1/+1 counters? Maybe contain some sort of graveyard interaction a la scavenge or something similar? Good find.
It could very well be Scavenge, at least one clan has a returning mechanic. I hope it isn't though, because scavenge isn't even out of standard yet.
Gatherer was broken before. Off the top of my head, you couldn't search for "+1/+1" without inputting the unicode for plus signs and you couldn't search for user comments. Those are still broken and so much more now. Once Magiccards.info updates with Vintage Masters and Conspiracy I will see no reason to use gatherer for the foreseeable future.
The thing that I don't understand is why are they giving a Heroes card after JOU game day ? It won't be used...
But it's written on Heroes Path that there is a heroes card. Just for casual ?? Not a better reward ?
They're assuming everyone thinks the hero's cards are the bees knees and will want the full set to go with the Hydra/Horde/JOU deck they bought. It's Wizards of the Coast - don't try to make sense of it - it'll drive you mad.
There are people who will do that. There are people that have trade binders full of only Fires of Undeath. Collectors are insane, not WotC.
I also do agree with Warden in that their might be a set within the block that has a heavy focus on the color of Red. Especially when Mark Rosewater made a remark about how the block structure was going to be different, and I doubt its by size.
Rosewater has also said that skewed color balance was a huge mistake in Odyssey block and Development quickly put the kibosh on his plan to do a similar thing in Innistrad. Based on the trademarks of Khans of Tarkir and Dragons of Tarkir, maybe the radical new set structure is two concurrent winter sets with 50% shared cards that appear in both sets and 50% unique cards per set. The shared cards would be regular cards that every set needs and the uniques would be cards from the khans and dragons factions. If both sets are 110 cards, with 55 shared cards, 55 khan cards, and 55 dragon cards that equals 165, a regular small set.
Doug Beyer says there's going to be another article on the BNG Gods. Which is good because the last one was one of the worst articles I've ever seen on DailyMTG.

He's going to be Mythic, do they even have rare cards packed in the comics?
Nope
