I'm not saying you're wrong, but I find it interesting you dismiss certain color combinations because they were in C17, yet you are so sure the morph deck will be 5 color, even though 5 color was also done in C17.

Is this being cast as a spell that targets a creature you control?

    1. Creates a token.

    2. equips for free to target creature

    3. Is a spell that targets a creature you control?

No. It doesn't attach itself to target token, it attaches to the token it itself created. It would also be impossible to target the created token, since the targets must be known when the spell is cast, and the token does not exist at that point.

It's going to be 1v1. It says so in the very same article you posted.

"Before the year is out, you'll be able to play 1v1 Brawl on MTG Arena"

I think WOTC will try to force Brawl as a 1v1 format in the future, and Commander as a multiplayer format. Which is weird, since both can be both.

If it were WotC's call, I wouldn't be concerned about paper Magic being shut down. But, it isn't.

    It's Hasbro.

The same company that made an SDCC exclusive, $150 Ghostbusters Optimus Prime for no apparent reason other than to see how many people were willing to fork over that much money for colored cardboard and plastic.

The same company that made "Monopoly for Millennials" and replaced the properties with experiences. Why? Because, as the packaging itself states: "Forget real estate. You can't afford it anyway." Enough people thought this was a good idea that it was greenlit and produced.

I have no faith in Hasbro to make intelligent decisions regarding Magic. But we'll know in less than 24 hours what news MaRo will be unveiling to us.

There is a big difference between producing a cash grab silly item and shutting down a money making machine that is paper Magic.

Changeling functions more as an abbrevation than an actual ability. Since it is impossible to write all the existing (and not yet existing) creature types in the usual spot on the card, the keyword "changeling" helps. That's the way I understand it, at least. Shapeshifter is written down because something has to be, and shapeshifter is most appropriate of the bunch.

Well, no. Soulherder only gets counters when a creature is exiled from the battlefield, not bounced, which is what Reflector Mage does. I don't think there is a way to cheat out multiple bounces here.

    Legendary Creature - Human Advisor

Legendary creature spells you control cost 2 less to cast.
Other legendary creatures you control have hexproof.
If another legendary creature you control would be put into a graveyard from play, return it to it's owner's hand instead.

    1/4

Next: a commander that gets better each time you cast it from the command zone

Nice, gj GJ! And others as well, of course. Bravo JT, you had me in your pocket. You would probably win if you would have killed GJ and not me.

I apologize for not being as active as I should have been. Work kept piling up. Probably should have subbed out, but I was enjoying myself too much Smile Will play here again.

Bah, to hell with it. Riku was my strongest scum read D2, and I have nothing more solid on any of you three. Let's see what happens.

I have some problems with lynching Ruma today. First off, he was an excellent target for the framer. It was pretty obvious he will be checked. That does not mean he can't be the framer, but I think he was ripe to be red today no matter what. In hindsight, I'm pretty pissed with myself that I even checked him, should probably go for almost anyone else.

Today, he was shooting down JT, GJ and now MS for being the scum. I think scum would probably take some time and go into D2 with a plan to set up a certain player, not just spray and pray all over the roster. His demeanor seems to be a townie in distress, realizing he might have lost us the game with his weak D1 play and trying to make amends. I dislike his constant whining about how he'll be lynched when it's far from certain, but there you have it, those are my thoughts on why we shouldn't rush into Ruma lynch at this moment.

This is nonsense. If you get two red checks D3, and none of them is Ruma, it's obvious Ruma was framed.

I think it's WIFOM. I don't really like putting too much weight on death posts from scum since it's really all mind games, could go either way. I rather check scum posts from before they were on their death bed, those usually give more info. Which is why I'm still leaning towards Ruma being scum, even though his D2 posts feel... less scummy.

But it does go with my theory that I was being set up, which I presented in #365 and that the plan was to set me up. Silver was FOSing me. But my conclusion was wrong, since Ruma was the first to post and he cleared me, which makes no sense whatsoever if that was indeed the plan and he was in on it.

So currently I am not willing to lynch Ruma and am not really ready to lynch at all. I know this is taking a long time. Sorry.

Follow up question regarding the targeting plan, GJ - do you see what I see?
