I'm using Ultimate Guard Boulders for both my Commander and Legacy decks.
All were double sleeved with Dragonshields until I switched to Eclipse for feel (again double sleeved). I notice there is a bit of room with the Eclipse vs Dragonshield.
If you are wanting to shut down cEDH decks then I highly suggest Meta Pod (formly Blood Pod). It's a resource denial deck that slows down the faster cEDH decks.
If people are playing cEDH deck against none cEDH decks, maybe a power level discussion needs to be had.
That's kinda what I was thinking DK. It's a great card but it kinda seems like Villainous Wealth in that it can have an impact but it doesn't really fit the deck.
Any deck can be strong/win if left alone.
My first game with my Omnath deck, my opponents took a Tempt with Discovery with 6 players since everyone was hurting for land - needless to say I ran away with the game after that. Everyone agreed it was a bad idea.
As said, Omnath (and really any well known Commander) usually have a reputation so you will get targeted and have to play around that.
Couple updates to the blinging out of the deck and storage
I printed a custom full art Sidisi a while back.
I also picked up some Ultra Pro Mini Snaps for all my Commanders. Previously I had them in top loaders which took up a lot of room and wouldn't fit in my Boulders. I was told that these would fit in Boulders as is but I had to modify them on my belt sander.
Definitely. I've been wanting to build a BUG deck for a long time. One that synergized dredge with self-mill, recursion, and graveyard shenanigans. But for what I wanted, The Mimeoplasm fell short. Then, Khans of Tarkir came out and I finally found what I was looking for in Sidisi, Brood Tyrant. The problem with the deck was that it was durdling too much with its engines. And then opponents could come and disrupt me or straight up take me out with combat damage. With Sidisi, the engines produced blockers as a side-effect of all the shenanigans. When I saw just how many zombies I could produce, they passed to attackers. The deck at first was good but not great; it was too inefficient. So I made significant changes to it and it's now what it is today. With its only true weakness being just a handful of cards (the ones that exile the graveyard upon entering the battlefield) with Bojuka Bog being the hardest of them to deal with (I would have to counter a triggered ability). But I really like the deck.
The version I play online isn't exactly like the one I play on paper because of how expensive most of the cards are and I am poor (hooray working middle class in Puerto Rico!) but slowly yet surely I am going to complete it with the only exceptions being the original duals and Gaea's Cradle. But Cockatrice is a good testing place because that's where I usually test the decks before sets actually get released. Fortunately, I haven't bought Prime Speaker Vannifar when it was released because it had too high a price tag. But Modern has shown that it's not as good as Birthing Pod so the price level has gone down.
This is my second Sultai deck, I've got a Tasigur, the Golden Fang deck too. It was a cEDH deck but I've tuned it down a little bit. It's still a control/reanimator deck with a combo finish that can win pretty quickly with a good draw.
Sidisi on the other hand is a completely different deck, out of the 28 or so decks I have it's certainly my favourite.
Middle class construction worker myself (Journeyman Electrician Foreman), loves being taxed to death. Hopefully with spring/summer coming now their will be more overtime.
I hear you on the pricing of cards, I'm glad I've got the stuff I've got because I'm not sure if I'd buy it with the current prices. I got a hell of a deal on the foil pieces in my deck so far. There's times being a responsible adult sucks, I rather just buy Magic cards haha. I don't play online so my decks are paper versions. However I only own single copies of duals, playsets of fetches and shocks. I have a staples binder and most people are cool with that in my play groups.
I really like those potential cuts for the deck. All four swaps are upgrades, in my opinion. As to what to cut for Green Sun's Zenith I recommend Journey to Eternity. I tested it when it came out and was a bit lackluster. That fact that it's not a creature doesn't help it much, either.
I've enjoyed Journey so far every time I've played it.
I decided to cut Rune-Scarred Demon as there's other tutor effects but I'm not sold on the swap. Some people suggested Vorinclex but I can't bring myself to cut the last Praetor left in the deck.
I've made 1 change to the list lately, cut Regrowth for Noxious Revival. The later is more flexible and can hit opponents.
I've got more foil stuff on the way so once that is here I'll update that part of the build.
I highly recommend it. Adding those two cards was part of the recent significant changes I've made to the deck and no regrets. Intruder Alarm works well on its own and Prime Speaker Vannifar can pull her own weight but most of the creatures in the deck support her anyways and it's very easy to chain from 0-cost to Craterhoof Behemoth.
I updated my thread with what I'm thinking of cutting to get Vannifar into my list. Check it out if you've got time.\
Can't agree more.
I'm still bouncing around the idea of slotting Vanifar and Intruder Alarm into the deck but no idea what to cut. Other then that I'm just changing sleeves and adding more foils

That's where I'll likely stick mine.
I'm thinking of taking my build more into the Food Chain realm.

Thanks gents!
I need to do up a list of what cards I need to get for the deck in foil.

I've also got some new KMC Hyper Mat sleeves on the way to resleeve the deck.
Last game with the deck was very uneventful, my play group knows the deck and it's shinanngins all too well. Paying 12 mana for Sidisi sucks

I'm also trying to fit Prime Speaker Vannifar. Here's what I'm considering cutting:
Glowspore Shaman, Witchbane Orb and Tolaria West. This will let me fit Prime Speaker Vannifar, Intruder Alarm and Dryad Arbor. I also want to fit Green Sun's Zenith but no clue what to cut for that.

This deck is so resilient it's frightening.
