I saw Hancock and I was amused for the time of the movie, but It was not a very good one.

This movie is a good movie and its bad sequal all in one. The first part of the movie was great and funny.

Then, it took a very sudden plot twist, and it was very bad after that. It barely explained anything and it was barely linked to the first plot.

I agree with this. Right around the point when
The new person with powers shows up
    The movie crashes.
    Hard.

The ending was, in my mind, especially cheesy.

Still a great movie for laughs however.

    May I suggest Leech Bonder?
It has a cheap untap ability, and because of that comboes nicely with the knack. Use it to wipe the opponents entire board (or at least all the threats).

Throw in green for beats, and you have a decent deck.

Pretty much null. I've been to Canada, which isn't saying much since I live in WA, and to about half the U.S. states. However, about half of the states I've been to were when we were driving from New Orleans to WA, so they don't really count.

However I would like to go to Japan. At some point.

    Yes!

I've played some mafia in the past, I'd play.

    Hmmm...
I've never tried Hawaiian shaved ice, but I have a couple ideas.
One might be to freeze it longer, and break it up with a fork periodically.

However, it really depends on what the consistency of Hawaiian shaved ice is or should be.

Ah ha, sugar, that makes sense.

it turned out great anyways, and I have 3 more bottles of root beer waiting to be made. A little like the slushie's we make (we have a slushie machine, just pour soda in and turn it on), but the consistency was more like New Orleans snowballs.
    Thanks for the recipe.

  • posted a message on [Idea] Stigma Lasher+Needle Specter - RB Sligh coming back?
    Stigma Lasher RR
    Creature - Elemental Shaman
    Wither
Whenever Stigma Lasher deals damage to a player, that player can't gain life for the rest of the game.
    2/2

Great beater, and definitely anti cards like Loxodon Warhammer.

    Needle Specter 1BB
    Creature - Specter
    Flying
    Wither
Whenever Needle Specter deals damage to a player, that player discards that many cards.
    1/1

Evasion, wither, and a good discard ability, especially with pump.

I think these two can form a solid basis for a RB Aggro deck, especially paired with the goodies from SHA like Dusk urchins, the liege, and Ashenmoor Gouger.

Ok, so I made the granite today (It's freezing right now!)

I used the IBC root beer, but I have one question.

    Quote from Zith »
12 oz of high quality nonalcoholic root beer, 1 tblsp, 0.5 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice.

I am curious as to what the bolded part is - It seems you may have forgotten an ingredient.

Yum, yum, yum. Definitely will try that out.

The calzone recipe looks good. I've made calzones before., they turned out pretty good. I'll try that recipe as well, thanks.

Yum, the chocolate pastry cream sounds good.

Requesting a recipe for the root beer and the green apple granita's as well, those seem right up my alley.

Favorite Food: Agh, so many! Probably either well made pizza, especially, homemade, or a nice bbq beef brisket. My dad's grilled hamburgers put up a good fight as well.
    Favorite Drink: Plain, old soda.
Favorite Cuisine: I'll eat anything really. Certain Thai places are good, Indian food is good. I don't like anything too spicy however.
Expertise: Desserts. Especially fudge, but also including cookies, brownies, and the occasional brownie.
I also enjoy making a grilled cheese with bacon sandwich every once in a while Wink
History: My dad cooks a lot, so I often help out with the food. I made a lot of cookies and such when I was little, and recently started making more things.
Goals: Making more... fancy meals you could say. Not a lot other than that.
Vegetarianism Scale: From 1 to 10, where 1 is vegetarian, I think I would place around a 7.5. Veggies are good, as long as they are raw - cooked vegetables, blech. I also love bbq, so I guess I am mainly a meat eater.

Well, the weave makes all their creatures copies of the card Mutavaut. This card needs an activation cost to become a creature. When it is copied, the activation cost has not been paid for the other x amount of creatures which became the card mutavault until end of turn.

I know you asked for rules, but that is all I know, and the basic reason why.

Those do sound good. I second the request for a recipe.

Zith, should we pm you our bios or post them here?

    Yay, finally.
    The thread is open.

    Now, I have a question:
What would be a good, simple (i.e. less than 30-45 min) that requires not that much cooking skill, and no special utensils other than the obvious things like mixers, oven, etc.
    Suggestions?

    Edit: Woops. My bad.
I'm looking for a dessert to make, preferably something that will keep fora day or two.
