The End of an Era

So, looking at cards and deck building have always been my favorite part of the game. Building a cube is like building a deck, but on steroids. I am definitely getting into the details and try to refine each color while preserving/balancing my archetypes, but I have never tried anything like this, so I am more than open to some feedback.

So, I played magic fairly competitively almost 20 years ago, but Let's just say I have been on hiatus. About four years ago, I met a casual group (very casual) and began playing with them and teaching my son, he is 7, the game. After a little while, my games with this group were not as fun, I won too way to often, and even at budget pricing my decks were fair superior to theirs.

In an attempt to offer my play group something new and more balanced I have been working on a budget-ish cube. Any card in the list that is more than a couple bucks, I already owned. I am hoping this will give us some variation in our play, and create a more balanced playing field. Below is link to my list on cube tutor. I would really appreciate any feed back. Please keep in mind that I am trying to keep each card to a dollar or so, as my collection substantially smaller than it was when I was younger (why did I sell my dual lands!) and I am buying a lot of singles to finish this cube.

    Thanks in advance
