Choose any number of target creature and/or planeswalker cards in graveyards. Put them onto the battlefield under your control. Command the Dreadhorde deals damage to you equal to the total converted mana cost of those cards.
if it was, the drawback would just be circumvented by having The Wanderer in your grave. it was probably written your way at first but was too powerful for standard with that wording.
Ruination Rioter is more of a brew-around-me card, simply because it hits any target. Get buncha lands in the grave, sack him, deal 10+ to the face. Could be teched around with Knight of the Reliquary in some kind of Naya creature brew, but getting said sack trigger in Naya is the hardest part. I guess you could always Bolt your own dude?

So does Jiang Yanggu, Wildcrafter.
I'm somewhat interseted in Elenda, the Dusk Rose (pump power and then get lots of sac fodder) as well as Oathsworn Vampire (Lightning Helix every turn)
In legacy, Knight can search Sorrow's Path (or more likely High Market) In modern, maybe Miren?
I do like that it exists, great inevitability if it doesn't get Pathed.
Both fixes non-snow mana into snow mana, and makes off-color snow lands better, while being card-neutral.
Oh my god those rulings. I had no idea this existed, thanks for letting me know!
Eidolon of Rhetoric and Rule of Law are fine as is, no need to make them onesided.
Pulmonic doesn't work, back to psionic it is.
