I'm not as sceptical about the worm as you are. Playing it pre combat on a trample creature before swinging will often get a reaction.. if you run 5 hexproof effect instants it might be more consistant T3 or T4 kill (based on my maths)
I dont run dismember in my mono green stompy deck to keep mono green I'd say splashing anything blue in the deck makes it slower and less fun (based on why mono green stompy is fun).
I'm going to try adding pelt collector to my red green creature chain deck, but as phaircaron says it's not really mono green stompy any more if we start to do that
I run a normal mainboard list (like on page 1) but 4 vines, 1 blossom defence, 0 dismember, and swapping in 2 Llanowar elves and a leatherback boloth for 2 avatar of the resolute. I only run 6 fetches... cos I only have 6 green fetches and the foil ones are expensive and hard to find.
I just played Thursday night modern at one of my lgs (10 ppl) and finished 2-1 as usual. Played the new 12 bolt deck which was close but got 2 wins (think they need to have side board damage all creatures spells to win). Also played +1+1 counter modular artifacts which I lost to again. Any suggestions for sideboard cards to add for modular +1+1 match?
I think it might be taking the deck in another direction, but I'm going to try 4 PC and 4 E1 alongside Narnam Renegade and greenbelt with 9 fetches. Maybe add 3 hardened scales too? Maybe even try greenwheel liberator or whatever the revolt 2 drop is called. Just need a payoff for counters.
I'm a 21 land fan with 2 mana dorks. Been stomping for a year. Will be upping my fetch count to 6 soon. Only fetching to trigger revolt (unless I cave in and add w/b removal to the board).
