At prices north of $165, would it REALLY have been too much to at least get 2 sweet basics paired with each fetch of the type they could search for?
They made the effort to do each one by a different artist, and each one on a different recognizable plane, so they should have expanded upon that with each pair of basics, IE Seb does a sweet Ixilan Forest and Island.

My understanding is the art is of the most recently printed art. So... no new art.

Because Wizards thinks it’s better to give us meme cards, rather than something we might actually want and use. And this is in a set that costs nearly double the cost of a traditional booster.
Massively underwhelming (on the whole, there are of course a dozen or two nice cards), in my opinion.
From a personal standpoint, I run just 16 of these cards, and I have 27 EDH decks. Of those 16 only one (Wear/Tear) is in more than one deck, IE no multi-deck staples.
You gain 6 life, as multiple instances of lifelink are redundant (just like multiple instances of flying or trample). However, do note there are some older creatures that say “when this creature does damage, gain that much life”. So while that FUNCTIONS as lifelink, it’s not ACTUALLY lifelink, so if it then gained lifelink it would essentially gain double life.
Because that way they finally will give us a more that just dencent product. The last good value out of the box product we got was premium deck series graveborn. No wonder they discontinued that too much good value in there, it was indecent. By the way Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is like 5 bucks.

Graveborn was 2011, so you’re discounting the ENTIRE LINE of Commander decks (36x), as well as Challenger decks (8x), Guild kits (10x), FTV Angels, Legends, and Realms, and Brawl decks (4x) among others. If you can’t find value in any of those OVER SIXTY products, that’s entirely on you, and your ability to judge products is questionable at best, and laughable at worst. Why would you continue to participate in a hobby you’ve been unable to derive value in going on 9 years?
So I must leave magic because you say so? Because I want more valuable cards in the non booster products?. Or is because you accept everything they do even this inclusion trend thats has nothing to do with make more people play the game. You want more people to play the game? Lower the cost of entry. “expensive” products. What I listed were $20 brawl decks, $20 guild kits, and $30-$40 Commander decks. Each one of those featured complete decks. So, to recap your incompetence:

Trying to cash in on the Keyforge “spend $10, sit down and play a game without having to think about deck construction” model.
I see local KF player pairs impulse buy a deck each and sit down and play a spur of the moment game (sometimes with the winner keeping the losers deck). I see this selling in much the same way. Got ~$10, an opponent, and 15 minutes? Jumpstart.

I didn’t miss anything. You know what a highlight is? To begin with, I DID mention Embercleave. AMONG the highlights: Embercleave ($23), Passage ($14), Steam Vents ($11). Knight, Rider, and Torbran are $4, $5, and $3 cards respectively, regardless of quantity. There is a clear separation in monetary value between the three cards I mentioned and the three you mentioned.
Why in the introduction to this write up does it say this is a weekly series (not once, but twice), and here we are on April 7th, 14 weeks into the year, and there’s been a grand total of 3 of these in 2019? These don’t even happen frequently enough to be considered monthly, let alone weekly.
No definition of ultimate is synonymous with anthology.

I don’t think what you want exists if you’re ruling out card draw that relates to creature power, which is pretty significant to disregard.

Commander players will buy it regardless, so long as the reprints are good. Theme = heavy tribal, and heavy tribal is very much a Commander thing.
