Personally I wouldn’t run underworld breach on its own but I think if we changed the combo a bit to include some self mill a bit like the pioneer version we could definitely fit the card into our 75
I had been thinking about that actually, are there any other cards we gain in modern that speeds up self mill like the lotus breach deck in pioneer.
I was thinking about updating a modern version of the deck but I don't know what you really gain from one format to another.
we could probably make a combo with tome scour reach through mists and breach to draw our entire deck
I wonder if you could go the grinding station route to cast a thassa's oracle for the win?

Just curious if there was any more testing with Underworld Breach with this deck? There is a SCG here in dallas in a few weeks and I thought I would bring this deck possibly.
There always seems to be a lot of burn, tron and Death shadow at these type of formats. SO maybe twiddle storm wouldn't be ideal but I think it would be interesting.
I was wonder if anyone has tried out the new card Ox of Agonas? I know the exile 8 cards is alot but I feel like it could be power and a big creature.
I haven't tried Ox of Agonas yet, but my experience with Haunted Dead is that I often used its discard ability because I wasn't hitting 8 cards in my graveyard fast enough. I believe Ox of Agonas will be deceptively bad in Dredge for this reason.
Makes sense and I know 8 cards alot for something like that but it is a interesting card. I can see a variant that may run 1-2 Ox of Agonas to try it out.
I am just curious but could the pioneer deck of this version and not worry about grapeshot be good? There are definitely a lot of win cons in modern than pioneer the reason I am asking.
I haven't played this deck in a awhile and I actually think it is in a great spot right now but out of curiosity, would once upon time make this deck even more consistent? Finding Eldrazi temples, thought-knot or any necessary creature?
I personally think that Once is great in Eldrazi decks, but you need to be playing green to run it. That also opens up Stirrings which gives you enough consistency that you no longer need Powder. In other words, Colorless will never play Once. I do think the way to go right now is to shift to Gx. Check out my article on the subject for more info:
I just wanted to say I played your GR Eldrazi list last night and went 2-1 with it. I adjusted the sideboard for my meta and swapped our Birds of paradise with Gilder Goose since I don't have any Birds.
I will say Wren and Six was filthy with the cycle land and I may tinker with the land base a little. I though there were too many fetch lands for the deck and the magnus of the moon is a nice touch. I was able to play magnus of the moon after a summoners pact and they didn't have enough green mana.
2-0: Amulent TItan
2-0: Mono green Infect
0-2: UW control, I misplay game 1 and game 2 he had me with celestial colonade. Both games were close though.
I was thinking evolving wilds could be a option. I just wish there was a shuffle ability so when you mulligan you don't lose cards to the bottom of the deck.
I lost to this type of deck yesterday, my opp also played scrap heap scrounge, it was very hard to deal with also cause I didn't have any graveyard removal in my sideboard.
I was playing rakdos aggro and next time I'll be more prepared, it was my first pioneer tourney so I didn't know anything about the format.
I went 2-1 but that loss stung bad,so bad that I'm considering running two scroungers in my rakdos deck.
Yeah this deck can go off and I originally had scrapheap scrounger but I was running out of spots in the deck.
nice deck with plenty of synergy. I like the use of many split cards.
really can't say much about the lands. We don't have decent fetch lands in this format.

So I played my first pioneer event last night and it was alot of fun, I played a fun Dimir dredgeless deck but after the event I think Sultai is the way to go I think. I have updated my list and I wanted to get some opinions. I am pretty shaky on the lands and which one is correct becuase I am use to be able fetch for lands and I don't know what is too many shocks
I have thought about playing grixis colors for arclight phoenix but I think the deck totally changes. I think Narcomemba and Creeping Chill would have to come plus a handful of other cards. I haven't looked at esper colors but I don't know what I would gain for adding white.
